Has anyone here watched the series "Invasion?"
 

I need to know wether to pick up the the Complete Series DVD box set with my coupon. I like science fiction, but I won't be interested in this if it is not very good. Please post your feedback. Most importantly, I want to know IF THE SERIES ENDED ON A TIE_IN_ALL_THE_LOOSE_ENDS episode. Or did it just get cancelled with no concluding episode?

I dont think it ever ended?? Im not 100% sure though??

I used to like that one a few years ago around the same time called "Surface" I dont think it ever concluded either...

I believe they basically just cut it off (stopped broadcasting it). However, that doesn't mean that they didn't have episodes "in the can" that are on the DVD set and just weren't aired. Might want to Google around a bit and see what you can find out.

I believe it left some loose ends, but "tried" to tie some things up in a very rushed sort of way.

It was very compelling at the get-go. I watched it because it came on after LOST, but then it moved to a new night and I gave up on it.

I grew bored with it, despite enjoying the concept and William Fichtner ("He's good in everything!").

Like others in this thread, the wife and I got hooked in when it first started airing last Fall. After awhile, it just seemed to drag on and on. I started getting bored with it. Then the stupid network just canceled it without tying up things. All the more reason to not bother with new shows. They just cancel a lot of the good ones anyway.

netflix is your friend...

I can do with series in which each episode is self contained. But, like x-file, most series make connections between episodes. That would commit a person to an entire series. I hate to pay for a series like that that's somewhat continuous without learning what happens in the end. I think networks abruptly cancelling series should at least allow the producers to do a final episode.

If you don't want it, I will take it. My wife and I loved that show.

No, they didn't tie up all the loose ends because they didn't know they would be canceled yet.

Continuity and serial episodes are huge right now with new shows. Probably because LOST is such a huge hit.

Isn't that about the invasion of Iran?

I loved how it turned out that the President and others were pre-placed aliens. It was a total surprise.






Okay, I've never seen this show. I admit it.

It could be like the show the Black Donnely's(sp?) and get canceled early and you can watch all the shows online or they will be released all on dvd..

The problem is how far did the series make it before it got cancled.. Most shows only run 4-6 episodes ahead of air date.. So if it got cancled in week 2 they might have not had time to make up a ending..
