Head Coaches
It seems to me that all of the head coaches after Hank Stram have been chosen for the wrong reason. The fact that they knew someone or would come cheap. Who was ever interviewed besides the person that was hired? Nothing personal against Herm but he did nothing in New York to distinguish himself as good coach in the NFL. When it was time to find a new coach no one was interviewed and there were some people who should have been interviewed like Sean Payton, Eric Mangini(who took Herm's old team and made their offenst 6th in the NFL), and Ken Whisenhunt just to name a few. When Herm came in and changed one of the best offenses in the NFL to me makes him the anti Dick! The first thing he should have tried to do was to keep Al Saunders! I know he was upset he didn't get the job but money would have made him get over it quick fast and in a hurry. Carl owed it to Chiefs Nation to find the best man for the job with the support that has been given the team through out the years of medoricty. Maybe when Carl leaves the team will search and find the best man for the job and he in turn will do the same to find a head coach.
That's my 2 cents so time to buckle down for a long season.
