Pick the busts

I just saw JaMarcus Russell interviewed on NFL Network. He's dumb. I think he's got bust written all over him, especially if he goes to the Raiders.

My bust: JaDumbass Russell.

Vince Young seemed to do okay last year despite being dumb as a rock.

Joe Staley

Whoever the Chiefs pick.

El Jefe 04-27-2007 02:18 PM

No way Joe Staley is a bust IMO. I think JaMarcus Russell, I saw the interview too, that guy is dumber than a box of bricks.

Anybody we pick in the first round

Amobi Okoye... out on a limb here, I know... but I just have a feeling that he is too young to be able to handle the stress of having grown men beat the piss outta him all game long...

Tribal Warfare 04-27-2007 02:20 PM

Quinn, Ginn, Staley,

I have to disagree, he's been dealing with that stress since he was 16 years old.

El Jefe 04-27-2007 02:22 PM

Ginn isnt gonna be a bust when he only plays 8 snaps all game.

El Jefe 04-27-2007 02:24 PM

I have to re-disagree with you TribalWarfare, big difference between stress of college football and pro, where people are paid to push you around. He played at Louisville too its not like he played in the Big Ten lol.

The stock of all the WR's drafted in the 7th round because teams are hoping they get the next Colston.

the kid was 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know when I was 16, I wouldn't have the attention span to keep up with collegiate studies, and Division I NCAA football practices and film study. Then their is the fact he's been playing DT for four years at a very very young age playing against top competition , because I-A football isn't for slouches.

To add to that his coaches have said all along he's mature beyond his years.

tyton75 04-27-2007 02:47 PM

Its one thing to have a very good Guard in the College ranks blocking you..

quite another to have to deal with someone like Roaf pulling thru the hole and squashing your grapes

I think he is a good kid and dont' want to see him flop.. but I think its a good possibility

Vince Young got like a 5 on the wonderlic.........I'm not sure being stupid even matters.
