Maybe it's just me, but every time I see a dog do this, I want to break something.

My cousin(who is in the army now)...has had a 2 legged dog for several years. Both on 1 side. Its a cattle dog and can jump in/out of a pickup. Its been in at least 3 newspaper articles I think.

Animals adapt better........probably because they don't have disability checks and lawsuits to fall back on. Move on or Die are their choices.

My family once had a 0-legged dog, for a short time.

His name was "dummy", but I think that was probably something that just stuck. We had a hay field near the house and the dog would follow the tractor around and around while mowing hay there....He'd chase the rabbits that jumped out, catch the mice, whatever. Anyway, one day we were all gone(dad and boys) and my Mom was mowing that field(she liked to do that small field close to the house sometimes to get away from our Rookus I think).

Dummy jumped the 9' bar(mower Cicle) and it cut all his legs off. He flopped across the road to the new neighbors field.

They had just moved in, and we hadn't me them yet. I think the conversation basically went "Hi, I'm Iowani-mom. We live down there ->, my dog is laying in your field, and the boys are gone...could you shoot it?

He did.
