I've been asking people about this for awhile now, and it seems some interest has been generated, so I might as well start an "official" thread about it.

Anyone up for this, or perhaps a meet-up before the game? If at all possible, i'd like to hook up with someone before the game, because i'm not at all familiar with Columbia, MO.

Also..wondering if whoever was interested wanted to try getting tickets together.

When do single game tickets go on sale? You get them through ticketmaster or are brokers your only choice?

Yes. Many times. I took my 4 year old son (at the time) with me in 2002. Some dipshit MU fan poured a beer on him as we left the stadium. It was no accident either. He said a few words before and tossed the brew on my kid. I sent my son with my wife and proceeded to beat the crap outta the a-hole. Fug with me, fine. Fug with my kid who was doing nothing at all - no way. A Rent-A-Cop stopped me from killing the little douche. It was his lucky day.

From what i've heard, KU and MU fans are the worst. I hate Nebraska...but never had a problem with any of their fans.

I think you can preorder them now. I'm not sure though. Seems to me I remember buying my tickets to the Nebraska game in late August or September last year, but I really can't remember.

I've never had a bad experience in Lincoln, Norman, Austin, Stillwater, Lawrence, College Station, etc. Boulder and Columbia are by far the worst places I have ever visited as an opposing fan - BY FAR!

Drunkeness tends to happen at football games. Hell, I was sober and it was all I could do to restrain myself from throwning down with those arrogant Cornholers that sat behind us last year. :cuss:

It refers you online to ticketmaster and then ticketmaster doesnt have any tickets or doesnt find anything in columbia. I'll call the ticket office tommorrow. Thanks for the tips!

I've been falling-down drunk, but never drunk enough to poor beer on a little kid. I'd bet the guy was a jackass sober, too.

That being said, I saw a show called Maximum Extreme or something like that on tv last night. They had video of a Raiders fan stabbing a Chargers fan at a game. Talk about a stereotype playing itself out.

While I've been to several games at Ferret Field and have had some near ugly incidents, NO VENUE is worse than Flotsam Field in Boulder.

So fellas...its closer to the date now, and tickets are on sale....any interest?

The reason MU fans are bad is bc we get those a**holes from St. Louis.

I'll be at the game, but I'll probably be busy getting drunk before the game.
