Royals finally listened to me and called up Loftin, I see.

He's cookin in AAA and we know he can play all the positions. Cavan Biggio serves no purpose on this team and Massey needs to get his head right.

Yeah, no reason why Cavan Biggio should be playing on the ML team. This team just has a knack for signing guys that should be playing in the minor leagues and putting them on the big league roster. Happens every single year.

Oh well…. Won the series, and had a terrific homestand after that awful road trip. Bubic got tagged for that 3 run homer, and Q put up the white flag with the Stratton/Zerpa combo. Man… for all the shit that goes Renfroe, Biggio and others’ way…. Stratton deserves a lot of heat. He’s been LOUSY and I’d cut him now, or no later than the minute Harvey is ready to return.

According to Quatraro, Stratton is just an unfortunate victim of circumstances. His velocity is up, and he just had some bad calls today. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I turned it off and found other things to do when they brought Stratton in. Back in the old days we called Bud Black "The Arsonist" because he was guaranteed to light up an inning. This guy is cut from the same flammable cloth.

Bud Black was a solid pitcher for the Royals. You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
