I think it's time to get a couple more of those UDFA DT's and wait a year or so and watch them blossom again

Barstoolsports is nice but yea Conyers would be better.

Brandon George might be the guy that they look at as a Sam if they can't get Chenal re-signed.

Bassa is very much a Tranquill sort but George has the mass/strength to be a legit Sam. Not the sort of animal that Chenal is, but he's sort of a 1 of 1. Pretty unique in how he can be used.

You can have a decent Sam who isn't also capable of playing nose tackle like that freak of nature.

Rolland-Wallace, who played okay when he got a chance and that crocodile Thor guy made the team last year.

Hopefully find a diamond in the rough

I could see it but DL room got nearly full quick last night.

Tillary could end up being cut. But he could also play NT just not aligned in a zero exclusively. Think arik armstead and deforest Buckner both starting in a 4-3 under in SF. Just Tillery hasn’t been that good. But Joe Cullen might light a fire.

Since we’re talking UDFA don’t forget or sleep on OT Ethan Driscoll. Small sample size but loved his aggressive style in preseason.

With him being in a position of playing for his relevance and continuing his career it’s in his best interest to play where asked. Most likely 3. But playing Wharton, a true 3 and starting him alongside jones worked out well even though it had potential to be week against the run. We shall see. Doesn’t mean I think he will start there

Really nice blend in the backup spots being competitive with maybe an UFDA otherwise guys that have not worked out at all but they need to stay in the league and earn a paycheck on the active roster or practice squad. Janarius Robinson at DE. Pretty much a bust but he’s hanging on and at least has the want to of continuing his career. Enough of those throughout the 3rd string in ps games = better opportunities of individual evaluations prior to cutdown. I.E. having a decent set of skilled players 3rd string and a 3rd QB you want to evaluate if he can be a future 2 you can’t see anything true with a terrible 3rd string OL. In that scenario you can’t evaluate the players properly because the unit sucks. Get as many different players at different points in their career and if they happen to be former high or mid picks because of expectations and athleticism it has the potential to build some spots on the end of your or someone else’s roster and your practice squad or a player you can bring back if needed and available. Doesn’t always work out that way but this year it’s a damn nice blend

DT Coziah Izzard has signed with the Chiefs

Chargers signed DJ U (the Clemson/Oregon State/FSU QB).

Brownlee Thornton and Ross add to the height guys with Thornton being a speed guy as well and sprinkle in some UDFA talent and the last roster spots and taxi squad spots looking positive tending in the right direction for competition

briningstool has great ball skills for a te and badger has enough yac ability to contribute in the short/intermediate game immediately. nice pick ups, but i doubt either makes the roster.

Briningstool, George and Badger are interesting enough.

Keeping Punt God honest is a good idea after he kinda cratered down the stretch.

No idea how he was so unproductive in college.
