This roster is insanely deep on paper and it’s as deep as I can recall in some time along the OL and DL which is like a fetish of mine. This obviously assuming the rookies are at least functional rotational players.

Pacheco’s longest career run is 48 yards.

The Chiefs longest run as a team last year was 34 yard.

The Chiefs need an explosive speed back.

I reckon there's a run on both WR and RB and we have much slimmer pickings, but a pivot to offense and especially RB seems the right move.

If there's a stud LB or Safety or even another DT left that represents great value, I can live with that.

4. Damien Martinez RB Miami 6’ 220- a bulldozer with good speed. Really good initial quickness. And good contact balance. Reminds me of a younger Kareem Hunt, but more speed. A bell cow back. Mitchell can be the lightning to his thunder.

5. Donte Thornton WR Tennessee 6’4” 210 4.30 speed. Limited route tree. But a lot to develop here.

7. Zeek Biggers DT Georgia Tech 6’5” 325- big physical kid. 35” arms. Run stopping DT that can push a pocket.

7. Caleb Ettiene OT BYU 6’7” 330- Has played LT and RT. Athletic kid. 36” arms. Develop as a RT to replace Taylor after next year. Allows Morris to kick inside to guard

7. Ruben Hyppolite LB Maryland 6’ 230- ran a 4.45 forty at his pro day. Tranquill replacement.

Me too, but I'm prioritising home-run speed at RB. We need that threat imo

I'm not a Pacheco hater and I am not trying to put him down, but he doesn't seem to be able to use his vision and avoid contact and get into the open field to be able to kick in that speed.

Yep we all love his effort and energy, but that speed doesn't always translate to the field

We added a couple OL which was the biggest problem. Hollywood Brien and Rashee Rice might be nice additions compared to last years team. Not to mention Worthy now has some experience to build off of.
