Ok interesting
|
Bye bye McDuffie
|
It usually ends well when Veach trades up to get somebody
|
Called the right positions today, at least LMAO
I like this pick |
Take a bow Veach

McDuffie is getting paid by the Chiefs |

Bye Watson* |

Based on Veach's CB history, he will be a Pro Bowler LMAO

Guy seems like an absolute freakish athlete
|
So we essentially have last year’s secondary plus Fulton and Nohl with a better pass rush?
|
What was the trade comp

Chiefs were dire when Watson went down last year and they have a lot of FA dbs next year
Felt a corner happening somewhere around this range |
Press corner without long speed that creates negative plays. Fits what Spags wants.
|
Shit he snuck a trade in on me?

Best pick today, dudes a playmaker
|
That's your outside CB insurance because Watson is gone after this year and Fulton tends to get nicked up.
|
oh my god i ****ing love it. give me more lengthy corners who can handle their 1 on 1s. we've needed a guy who can go up against physical wrs like dk and brown and hold their own.
veach is cooking in this draft man. |
Shit happens quick when your name is Bart Veecher

LOVE THIS PICK!!!
|
Hallmark is giddy
|
3 defensive picks, 1 offensive pick, interesting.

I like this pick the best today. Our corners in 2024 were not good enough in crunch time.
|
Good ball skills- had seven picks last year
|
We parted with the Joe Thuney pick to get this guy. Hope he's good.
|
Only allowed A 40 passer rating in coverage last year.
7 interceptions last year and 14 total interceptions in college. |

A Veechh CB. Some real positive stuff written about him. I wanted offense too, but this seems like it could be a great one…

I really really like this add. Such a fit for this system. Great feel for zone, can find the ball in the air, long, great at press.

What was the trade to get him? Comp? I missed the trade part.

Cal doesn't really compromise much on academics for student athletes either.
He'll have the brain space to quickly pick up Spags defense. |

Nobody saw the corner sneak up and snatch the pass away for the pick! It was a shot from the grassy Nohl!

Some other fanbases are Big Mad this guy fell to KC
"Of course Nohl ended up in Kansas ****ing City. Kill me now" McDuffie moving to the slot for sure, where he is maximized |
I’m a big fan of what Veach did in rounds 2 and 3.
Just get a WR and a RB with burst tomorrow. Maybe a developmental OL like Hollin Pierce. |
Basically, Bripp Vrelch ****ing rocks.
Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk |
Hopefully bye Nazi Johnson.
|
This is the best pick so far.

The Kansas City Thief is back in KC, baby!
I’m not sure we truly understand how much our team has improved over the last couple days. The improved pass rush is going to speed up the clocks of opposing QBs Williams will make those QBs think twice before throwing in his direction. Josh Simmons has the potential to let Mahomes be a lot more comfortable back there, like he used to be. More time for WASP. |
One mock on Walter Football he was going to go to the Raiders in the 5th round.

I like the fit, and I don't necessarily mind the pick. But kinda amazed we didn't prefer Watts at safety ahead of him.

My favorite pick of the draft so far. A lot of questions marks thus far throughout the Chiefs draft and this is the only one that I'm confident could be a starter in a pinch if needed, and will do it more successfully than the teammate infront of him coming out of the gate.

I really like this draft. But then, I spent time with it in advance, and understood the strengths and weaknesses in this draft class going in. Perhaps that's got something to do with it. Simmons' knee concerns me, but it doesn't seem to bother Veach and Reid, so I guess I won't worry. Other than that, I really like the fits for all of these players. |

I wasn’t a fan of the Simmons pick, but that’s the only one I have questions about. Chiefs made the pass rush and secondary better. Those improvements will help each other. I want more offense, but there are plenty of quality backs left. WR looks rougher, but the Chiefs can move up in the 4th if needed. |
The Chiefs got exposed in the trenches in the SB. They attacked the trenches in the draft.
Dumbass Chiefs fans: "WTF are they doing?" |
Quote:
Simmons, assuming he's anywhere near 100%, is the best LT we'll have had since prime Fisher-and maybe since Roaf. IF, yes, I know, big IF-but Andy and Veach seem content with the knee so I assume they know more than we do. I don't see how you can sit here on this Sunday morning and feel like the team is not in a better spot than we were in February. |

This could very well be the bargain of the draft. I REALLY like this kid and think he fits our defensive scheme perfectly.

As good as our secondary has been lately, the one thing we've lacked is interceptions... looks like this kid can fix that :thumb:
