Who do you want in round 2?
Discuss....
|
I want sexy results
|
Honestly I want whoever the top DT is on the board then in round three get a DE and WR
|
I'd double dip at DL with the next 2 picks, barring somebody like Henderson or Judkins falling into our lap.
|
the best player available that isn't a QB
|
Trade up from 63 for a WR and draft DL and RB in rd 3.

No brokedicks.

3 picks tomorrow heading in.
I’d like a DL and a RB tomorrow |
Not a RB. This much I know for sure. Get an RB next year. We are absolutely set at RB. Great fkn tandem.
We need a safety and DL. |
If I'm not being faceitious...
Based on my mock... DT TJ Sanders, South Carolina LB Barrett Carter, Clemson RB Trevor Etienne, Georgia Guys I'd champion getting our hands on: DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M DE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State DE Bradyn Swinson, LSU DE Landon Jackson, Arkansas DE Jordan Burch, Oregon DT Joshua Farmer, Florida State DT Shemar Turner, Texas A&M DT Alfred Collins, Texas (Medicals) DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State RB Dylan Sampson, Tennessee TE Mason Taylor, LSU WR Jalen Royals, Utah State WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State WR Kyle Williams, Washington State WR Tory Horton, Colorado State WR Tai Felton, Maryland LB Danny Stutsman, Oklahoma LB Demetrius Knight, South Carolina LB Jeffrey Bassa, Oregon LB Chris Paul Jr, Ole Miss CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina (Medicals) CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame (Medicals) CB Nohl Williams, Cal S Xavier Watts, Notre Dame S Kevin Winston Jr, Penn State S Jonas Sanker, Virginia S Andrew Mukuba, Texas RT Ozzy Trapilo, Boston College OT/G Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona OT/G Anthony Belton, NC State OG Wyatt Milum, West Virginia OG Tate Ratledge, Georgia OT/G Marcus Mbow, Purdue OG Miles Frazier, LSU |
Calling DT and RB with our 2nd and the Tits 3rd. In no specific order.

J.J. Birden stays in good shape and is only 59.

JTT from Ohio State would be fun
|
DT and WR. RB can wait till the 3rd round.

Running back. Defensive tackle is an expendable position unless they’re Chris
|
Veach said they are going to try to get a couple DL and a corner tomorrow in his PC.
|
RB all the way. We need some dynamite, enough is enough with having nothing but scraps and projects back there.

BPA but I'd be sorely tempted to go all-in on offense honestly. Another OL piece, RB for sure, and the best chain-moving WR/TE there is.
|
We need to find the next Skyy Moore.
|
With Hampton and Jeanty in our division now, let’s beef up the DL.
|
A dynamic running back. But we seem hell bent on drafting injury risks. Probably better cruise my black list of players.

Some very good CBs stilll available...
|
Alfred Collins.
|
DT is a must with one of the picks.
Then TE/RB/CB with the other one, then flip that for pick 95 and take one of the other 2. I wouldn't be pissed if Ersery is there and we take him and double up on Tackles. We'll certainly need 2 soon. |
Whoever it takes to get all the weirdos to act like their uniformed internet based opinions actually mean something.
|
Actually, give me Treyveyon Henderson in round two and Alfred Collins at the top of three and I'm happy.
|
DL but really BPA. So I hope DL is BPA.
|
DL, DL, RB

One of Alexander JTT Sanders plz.

I think you have to go after a DT in round 2 if there’s a solid one that falls to them at 62. I think one of those 3 rd picks has to be a RB, right?
|
SCATEBOOOOOOO!
|
I can see them using the 5th they got last nite from Philly and a 7th to move up a few spots to get an EDGE/DT that has fallen down the board. They really don't need 9 total picks.
|
63 DE, 66 DT, 95 WR, OL, TE

If Schwesinger fell, sure. Otherwise probably not. |

Since I was seeing red last night and couldn't read 2nd round vs Day 2, here's 2nd round guys I like:
RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State TE Mason Taylor, LSU WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State RT Ozzy Trapilo, Boston College OT/G Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona OG Tate Ratledge, Georgia DT TJ Sanders, South Carolina DT Joshua Farmer, Florida State DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M DE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State DE Landon Jackson, Arkansas LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina (Pending Medicals) CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame (Pending Medicals) S Xavier Watts, Notre Dame S Kevin Winston Jr, Penn State |
The Chiefs and Bills both talked to Josh Farmer every day per Farmer himself. Sounds like it’s time to cuck the Bills again!

Add another weapon. Speed and athleticism. RB, WR, TE...
|
Every year I bang the table for a tall jump ball WR for Mahomes, I would love for Veach to find that. There's awesome WRs that are drafted in the second and third rounds every year and then a few diamonds in later rounds, if we could find that I would be over the moon. Enough speedy guys and slot receivers, lets get that outside guy with length and hands.

Would gladly take Henderson but I don't see a way he makes it that far. |
I'd like to see the Chiefs take a LT prospect with two healthy knees. If there's one in the 2nd that would be ideal.

But, there are some later round guys I might take a flyer on, like Tory Horton or Isaac TeSlaa, and even though he doesn't have the arm/hand measurables, I might take a late round flyer on Nick Nash too. |

DL and WR or RB on day 2.
|
Do you envision the Chiefs trading up early in the 2nd round to get Henderson. Or LB3?
More then likely the traded picks would be 63 66 and a later pick to get picks 33-40s |
My guys for the 2nd round...
RB Henderson, DE Green, DE Tuimoloau, DL Burch, DT Collins, LB Swesinger, OL Savaiinaea, OG Ratledge, WR Burden, WR Higgins, TE Arroyo |
A weapon. Royals, Noel or Henderson ideally. We'll see if any of them make it that far. Lots of trench players going in the first tells me skill position guys will be targeted in the second. So I'm not super confident.
We shall see. |

And you know I like Williams but I know I like to game the draft process. If we're at the wheel, I'd gamble that he'd be there at the back of 3. I wouldn't hate it if we went that route. It's just earlier than I'd pull the trigger. I'd end up pivoting to DL or the secondary if none of my real '2nd round talents' were there. |
#63: T.J. Sanders, DT
#66: Alfred Collins, DT |

But if he's there in the mid 40s, I'd absolutely be banging on the table to trade up. Not sure how high 63 and 66 gets us, but that's gotta be in the low 40s. |
Also which team are we trading Smith too for their 2nd round pick?
|
Quote:
|
Nobody is trading a 2nd rounder for a Guard, much less one that has a big cap hit today and needs a new big deal.
|
This year needs to be about offense. Load up heavy on lots of OL. Get a RB, preferably a speed demon. Maybe get a TE.
Guard would be a huge get. We need competition for Kingsley. But keep in mind that a Guard might also help us avoid paying huge money to Trey. Which id rather not for a guard. Even better if we can do this at RT too though that’s a harder ask. These are exactly the spots where teams can find great players at these skill positions |
