Who do you want in round 2?

Discuss....

chiefs1111 04-24-2025 11:09 PM

I want sexy results

chiefs1111 04-24-2025 11:10 PM

Honestly I want whoever the top DT is on the board then in round three get a DE and WR

staylor26 04-24-2025 11:10 PM

I'd double dip at DL with the next 2 picks, barring somebody like Henderson or Judkins falling into our lap.

Bump 04-24-2025 11:16 PM

the best player available that isn't a QB

RunKC 04-24-2025 11:24 PM

Trade up from 63 for a WR and draft DL and RB in rd 3.

Exactly this. If there's a stud FS, LB or WR I could also be talked into a pick there. But mainly I want us to bolster the DL, badly.

DynastyChiefs 04-24-2025 11:27 PM

Bowman from Oklahoma

kccrow 04-24-2025 11:35 PM

No brokedicks.

Dante84 04-24-2025 11:35 PM

3 picks tomorrow heading in.

I’d like a DL and a RB tomorrow

BWillie 04-24-2025 11:49 PM

Not a RB. This much I know for sure. Get an RB next year. We are absolutely set at RB. Great fkn tandem.

We need a safety and DL.

kccrow 04-24-2025 11:50 PM

If I'm not being faceitious...

Based on my mock...
DT TJ Sanders, South Carolina
LB Barrett Carter, Clemson
RB Trevor Etienne, Georgia

Guys I'd champion getting our hands on:
DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State
DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
DE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State
DE Bradyn Swinson, LSU
DE Landon Jackson, Arkansas
DE Jordan Burch, Oregon
DT Joshua Farmer, Florida State
DT Shemar Turner, Texas A&M
DT Alfred Collins, Texas (Medicals)
DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State
RB Dylan Sampson, Tennessee
TE Mason Taylor, LSU

Calling DT and RB with our 2nd and the Tits 3rd. In no specific order.

We are most definitely not set at rb. That said a 2nd is too early to pick up another

It would be nice but I think Burden will be gone before the Chiefs have a chance to trade up and I doubt Chiefs would give up a bunch of picks to trade up for Burden either

The third from the Titans would probably suffice.

Yo Murphy. 04-25-2025 01:16 AM

J.J. Birden stays in good shape and is only 59.

Dante84 04-25-2025 01:17 AM

JTT from Ohio State would be fun

BigRedChief 04-25-2025 01:25 AM

DT and WR. RB can wait till the 3rd round.

LB? In the 2nd round?

xztop123 04-25-2025 02:06 AM

Running back. Defensive tackle is an expendable position unless they’re Chris

BossChief 04-25-2025 02:21 AM

Veach said they are going to try to get a couple DL and a corner tomorrow in his PC.

Wisconsin_Chief 04-25-2025 03:23 AM

RB all the way. We need some dynamite, enough is enough with having nothing but scraps and projects back there.

So I would fully expect RB, WR and S. :)

CupidStunt 04-25-2025 05:16 AM

BPA but I'd be sorely tempted to go all-in on offense honestly. Another OL piece, RB for sure, and the best chain-moving WR/TE there is.

Womble 04-25-2025 05:31 AM

We need to find the next Skyy Moore.

In58men 04-25-2025 05:34 AM

With Hampton and Jeanty in our division now, let’s beef up the DL.

Dunerdr 04-25-2025 05:59 AM

A dynamic running back. But we seem hell bent on drafting injury risks. Probably better cruise my black list of players.

Darius Alexander. He would be a nice addition if he's still available. Highest rated DT on the board.

el borracho 04-25-2025 06:23 AM

Some very good CBs stilll available...

Chris Meck 04-25-2025 06:29 AM

Alfred Collins.

Sofa King 04-25-2025 06:36 AM

DT is a must with one of the picks.

Then TE/RB/CB with the other one, then flip that for pick 95 and take one of the other 2.

I wouldn't be pissed if Ersery is there and we take him and double up on Tackles. We'll certainly need 2 soon.

Abba-Dabba 04-25-2025 06:43 AM

Whoever it takes to get all the weirdos to act like their uniformed internet based opinions actually mean something.

Chris Meck 04-25-2025 06:44 AM

Actually, give me Treyveyon Henderson in round two and Alfred Collins at the top of three and I'm happy.

warpaint* 04-25-2025 06:46 AM

DL but really BPA. So I hope DL is BPA.

ChiefsFan63 04-25-2025 06:51 AM

Yo Murphy. 04-25-2025 07:00 AM

One of Alexander JTT Sanders plz.

ChiTown 04-25-2025 07:03 AM

I think you have to go after a DT in round 2 if there’s a solid one that falls to them at 62. I think one of those 3 rd picks has to be a RB, right?

TinyEvel 04-25-2025 07:12 AM

SCATEBOOOOOOO!

tmax63 04-25-2025 07:24 AM

I can see them using the 5th they got last nite from Philly and a 7th to move up a few spots to get an EDGE/DT that has fallen down the board. They really don't need 9 total picks.

Chief Roundup 04-25-2025 07:27 AM

Since I was seeing red last night and couldn't read 2nd round vs Day 2, here's 2nd round guys I like:

RB TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State

TE Mason Taylor, LSU

WR Jaylin Noel, Iowa State

RT Ozzy Trapilo, Boston College

OT/G Jonah Savaiinaea, Arizona
OG Tate Ratledge, Georgia

DT TJ Sanders, South Carolina
DT Joshua Farmer, Florida State

DE JT Tuimoloau, Ohio State
DE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
DE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State
DE Landon Jackson, Arkansas

LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA

CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss
CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State
CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina (Pending Medicals)
CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame (Pending Medicals)

S Xavier Watts, Notre Dame
S Kevin Winston Jr, Penn State

RunKC 04-25-2025 07:31 AM

The Chiefs and Bills both talked to Josh Farmer every day per Farmer himself. Sounds like it’s time to cuck the Bills again!

nychief 04-25-2025 07:57 AM

Add another weapon. Speed and athleticism. RB, WR, TE...

Gravedigger 04-25-2025 08:10 AM

Every year I bang the table for a tall jump ball WR for Mahomes, I would love for Veach to find that. There's awesome WRs that are drafted in the second and third rounds every year and then a few diamonds in later rounds, if we could find that I would be over the moon. Enough speedy guys and slot receivers, lets get that outside guy with length and hands.

Henderson will be long gone by our pick . I think it should be Etienne at 66. I want Tuten like yall want Burden. I would be cool with Martinez or Giddens by the 4th. I will rage if I see Skattebo with a Chiefs banner on my TV

Trey Amos, Landon Jackson, Sanders, Thomas and Sawyer are names that stick out to me.

Would gladly take Henderson but I don't see a way he makes it that far.

Vladimir_Kyrilytch 04-25-2025 08:50 AM

I'd like to see the Chiefs take a LT prospect with two healthy knees. If there's one in the 2nd that would be ideal.

So, I would love to move up in the 2nd and snag a Jayden Higgins or a Tre Harris.

But, there are some later round guys I might take a flyer on, like Tory Horton or Isaac TeSlaa, and even though he doesn't have the arm/hand measurables, I might take a late round flyer on Nick Nash too.

DL and WR or RB on day 2.

KingPriest2 04-25-2025 09:34 AM

Do you envision the Chiefs trading up early in the 2nd round to get Henderson. Or LB3?

More then likely the traded picks would be 63 66 and a later pick to get picks 33-40s

Couch-Potato 04-25-2025 09:44 AM

My guys for the 2nd round...

RB Henderson,
DE Green,
DE Tuimoloau,
DL Burch,
DT Collins,
LB Swesinger,
OL Savaiinaea,
OG Ratledge,
WR Burden,
WR Higgins,
TE Arroyo

DJ's left nut 04-25-2025 09:48 AM

A weapon. Royals, Noel or Henderson ideally. We'll see if any of them make it that far. Lots of trench players going in the first tells me skill position guys will be targeted in the second. So I'm not super confident.

We shall see.

I’m advocating for trading #63 & #66 to the Bears for #41 & #148 to nab RB Henderson… would certainly be exciting!

Gotta jump the Broncos before we have 3 new RBs to deal with in the AFC West.

Burden or a top HB would be nice. Like you said - a playmaker. Someone who can spark the offense so the QB doesn't have to provide every single spark to rally this team.

Not a fan of Judkins - I think he's a product of (ironically enough) his OL. Or at least moreso than Henderson was. Seems unlikely that he'd be my top guy.

And you know I like Williams but I know I like to game the draft process. If we're at the wheel, I'd gamble that he'd be there at the back of 3.

I wouldn't hate it if we went that route. It's just earlier than I'd pull the trigger. I'd end up pivoting to DL or the secondary if none of my real '2nd round talents' were there.

Balto 04-25-2025 09:58 AM

#63: T.J. Sanders, DT

#66: Alfred Collins, DT

Burden isn't on my radar. In my world, he gone.

But if he's there in the mid 40s, I'd absolutely be banging on the table to trade up. Not sure how high 63 and 66 gets us, but that's gotta be in the low 40s.

Also which team are we trading Smith too for their 2nd round pick?

I’ve wondered about that too. The problem is who to replace him with unless the next pick is a high level IOL.

BryanBusby 04-25-2025 10:05 AM

Nobody is trading a 2nd rounder for a Guard, much less one that has a big cap hit today and needs a new big deal.

chiefzilla1501 04-25-2025 10:09 AM

This year needs to be about offense. Load up heavy on lots of OL. Get a RB, preferably a speed demon. Maybe get a TE.

Guard would be a huge get. We need competition for Kingsley. But keep in mind that a Guard might also help us avoid paying huge money to Trey. Which id rather not for a guard. Even better if we can do this at RT too though that’s a harder ask. These are exactly the spots where teams can find great players at these skill positions
