I'm glad to see Renfroe at DH. Just because he's not in the outfield doesn't mean we can't have his sweet, sweet bat!

There are currently 2 players with a BA over .214, and Renfroe (.140) is the lowest of the bunch. LMAO

I think anything less than a sweep will be disappointing. But who knows.

I don't know if he's their ace or not, but he did ok until the Dodgers tagged him for 5 or 6 runs in less than 3 innings. Is why his ERA is high. 2.89 ERA they mentioned other than that I guess.

He's the only Royal to have a hit, of which he has 2 now. :thumb:

But he’s 28, has a career ERA of 5.15 and a WHIP of 1.42 in 334 career innings pitched, so I’d argue his early start to the season (minus the Dodgers game) is not the norm for him. :shrug:

Coming into this year, Feltner was my favorite out of the Rockies pitchers outside of Dollander, who has a chance to be one of their best hurlers in franchise history.

Those stats mean almost nothing to me. It's almost impossible to judge Rockies pitchers on stats without adjusting them.

Ubaldo Jimenez, Pedro Astacio, Jeff Francis, German Marquez, Kyle Freeland, Aaron Cook -- all of their best pitchers in team history have ugly ERAs save for a few Jimenez seasons.

I get the ‘Coors effect’ on the ERA, but his career WHIP (1.42) is pretty damn high, which means he allows a LOT of baserunners.
