Based on my experience, “The Tingler” is almost always in charge.

Better than when they landed on Ellis Island with “Suckscock” as the family surname.

Ironically he is former Royal.

Back to back highlight reel catches.

Long is an example of how relievers can be quite volatile year to year. It’s early, and while he’s had his issues, he’s a lefty, he did well in some big spots last year, and I can almost guarantee, if he doesn’t blow his arm out, he’ll still have a job pitching five years from now. If Mike Magnante can manage a ten plus big league career, I’m giving Sam Long the benefit of the doubt.

This dude better settle in and throw some strikes!

He’s thrown 15 pitches tonight and yet to record an out.

Wow, I'm feeling like we got lucky there, a LOT could have gone terribly wrong.

Amazing play by Salvy, and catch by Massey to get that out. 4-1 going to the Royals half of the 8th.

And way lucky it bounced off the batter's helmet like it did too. But it was indeed an amazing play.

Man oh man, we just just got ****ed out of a base runner. Terrible called strike. Memories of the 1990s Braves pitcher's calls...
