Bills are some bitches man

Spott 04-01-2025 12:16 PM

The way the Bills karma goes, they will lose in the playoffs when the other team gets awarded a game clinching first down against them. To be honest, those bitches deserve all the bad karma they get.

KC_Connection 04-01-2025 12:17 PM

Any time the Bills lose a playoff game this happens.

The only way to finally get rid of the Philly tush push may be for the Bills to lose a SB game to it.

wazu 04-01-2025 12:24 PM

This wouldn't have affected the play in the Bills game. The ref still spots the ball. The Bills are still whiney bitches but this story is not related to that.

Rainbarrel 04-01-2025 12:27 PM

I hope it catches Bills defensive signals

Yup. Time to put computer chips in the goddamn football and remove the human element.

loochy 04-01-2025 12:44 PM

Once again, this is just measuring the first down BASED ON WHERE THE REFEREE SPOTS THE BALL

lcarus 04-01-2025 12:45 PM

So many Bills fans still crying over that and they always show the angle where you can't see the ball. The shot with the best view shows pretty clearly that bitch was short.

PHOG 04-01-2025 01:55 PM

And they STILL won't be able to see where the ball is during a Tush Push.

Still wouldn't happen because it doesn't involve the Chiefs.

KCUnited 04-01-2025 02:02 PM

RIGGED for the Seahawks??

Demonpenz 04-01-2025 02:02 PM

How will that show when the knee goes down though? I mean, the ball can move quite a bit forward well after the player is down. In a pile up, how will they see that?

Looking forward to the ****ing insanity this will bring. Ugh.

Yeah, That would be the clear, best path. We can know exactly where the ball is down to the micro-inch.

It's obvious. You put sensors in the player's knees

They will also need butt sensors.

No it won't. Unless there is some way to tell exactly when a knee, elbow, butt, shin or whatever other body part determines when a player is down, is down.

If the technology tracks the position with time, you could use the game tape to determine the instant the player was down and then check to see if the ball crossed the line to gain before that instant.

I am waiting for the next rule to come around....

Only TD's scored by Buffalo will be counted in the playoffs during the 4th quarter.

htismaqe 04-02-2025 05:42 AM

Did anybody read the tweet in the OP? Did they read the multiple threads where we discussed this? This DOES NOT affect the spot of the ball. That is still 100% subjective. All this does is eliminate play stoppages for measurements.

Can't be said enough. This really only fixes situations where the chain gang was somehow ****ing up. I don't remember that happening ever that we noticed. It represents some progress in eliminating a weird measurement process and moving further down the path of using technology to officiate. But it has nothing at all to do with the Buffalo Bills or the game we played. The ref still has responsibility of spotting the ball.

Yep, you are looking at when a knee is down then the system tells you where the ball was.
