When the Lounge realizes things we've known...
For months, because we're big ol' draft nerds.
It's one of my favorite things. I'm enjoying seeing everyone accept that this draft sucks for T. |
Cam Robinson, come on down!
|
It always makes me laugh when you watch it go from "we need this" to the realization of oh there isn't someone good at every position in every draft.
It's like the starting point is "all drafts are the same" |
And those who learn very slowly will call us 'drafturbators' like knowing anything about the draft to discuss is a bad thing.

Major floor raisers. If it’s not one of those two, get ready for DJ. |
I’m just a mild draftubator now days with my new work demand but this is one of my favorite things. Draft guys are spitting facts starting in the playoffs and the lounge won’t swallow any of it until after the combine.
Like being a football conspiracy theorist. |

I think it’s Robinson or Humphries.
If it’s Humphries, I’d still throw a small deal at Jedrick Wills and see if you can salvage that career. Having one of Humphries or Wills “hit” would be pretty transformational for the roster construction. |
I'm feeling like it's going to be Humphries.
Not my preference, really, but I'm not seeing much out there that's conventionally available that is significantly better risk/reward-wise. |
I’m fine with Humpries, but I still want us to draft competition at OT.
|
I said weeks ago it's gonna be the Humphries/Kingsley combo

Yes we could use 31 on a prospect LT but they arent any better than Kingsley. Unless Simmons falls all the way to us or we manage a trade up for him, I believe it will be DJ/KS at LT. |
I would also take a chance on J. Wills. Way to good of a prospect not to try out. You could argue he is already better than anyone we had last year.

Dudes, Brosefs, Compadres…I’ve never understood why anyone would get into serious bickering matches on this site. We’re all Chiefs Nation, best fanship in the NFL.
Shake hands and be done with it. |
Weird question but how much home vs at work do you guys cruise cp? I’m almost exclusively at work lately and got a promotion that’s slowed that down a lot. I try to watch draft stuff on my time but coaching 12u baseballs killing my free time.

You can pat yourself on the back all you want. But you exposed yourself as a fraud by getting out of your lane. Just continue to repeat what other say and write and don’t give your opinion. You have no clue!! Sorry cupcake!! |

Now, the thing is-I disagree with Crow often. But there's no need to take this shithead banter position. You can disagree without being a jerk. Over HERE, that's how we do, for the most part. We generally don't do this over here. |

And again his stuff is copy and pasted from other sites. He doesn’t personally know. He is no different than any of us. He is a very good writer and is able to make it more professional looking. But he did express him self some by stepping out of good lane of sticking to what he has read from others. And gave his own opinion being way off. But that is my opinion of him. I do appreciate reading his posts. But when he criticizes like he is all knowing and is way off multiple times I will call him out for the fraud he is |

Me? I just read scouting reports from various sources and then watch some video on guys I'm interested in, and kind of form an opinion from that. So, yeah, I'm not claiming to be a guru. I don't think Crow is, either, but he puts a LOT more time into it year 'round than just about anyone else here. I don't even watch college football, lol. I'm only interested in the NFL, and I can't tell what college players will be good pros when they're playing Eastern Uganda State and scoring 5 touchdowns-what does that even mean? I don't always agree with his takes, but I respect the effort. Not speaking for Crow, but if you ruffled his feathers (nyuk, nyuk) by being a bit rude out of the gate, I can understand him being irritable because he DOES put a lot of time into it. We could probably take things down a notch or three over here, me included. |

But I will take it down. I don’t want to be an issue. But I will defend myself if Crowe continues to throw personal blows in multiple threads. |
Let's all just take 'er down a notch.
This is usually where folks just talk football without so much of the nastiness. |
Here's how I see it Palangi, you can straight up go **** yourself. Acting as though you didn't attack me first is ****ing childish and not taking ownership of anything. So you can sit there and play the victim card but it was flat out you being a goddamned asshole and calling me a fraud because you think I misjudged some guys and copied some scouting reports.
Sometimes, I misjudge prospects. I misjudged A LOT of them over the years. I'm not a pro, I don't get paid to do this. I hit a lot more than you think I do, though. I can go back to guys like Stefon Diggs and Aaron Jones. I can talk about being right about guys like Bernhard Raimann and Christian Darrisaw. But hey, I'm just a fraud. Sometimes I agree with scouting reports and they end up saying the same shit as everyone else. Sometimes I disagree, and they say things others don't. Sometimes, those are wrong; sometimes, they are right. I love Tai Felton at WR and I thought he was slower than the 4.37 he ran. Crucify me for it. I disagree with Meck, Staylor, DJ, etc, all the time, and we don't sit here and call each other names or disrespect each other. You could probably learn something from that. In the meantime, you're just another ****ing idiot who lost every ounce of my respect you ever had and it's doubtful you'll ever get it back. |

Crow is pretty good at this, so is DJ, and S Taylor I'd say those are probably the 3 best in this sub. The beauty of the message board is we can disagree and move onto the next playe4 |

Like I said I like his posts. Good info in them. But when he is wrong after calling me out I’m going to call him out. It’s unfortunate his ego got hurt and it turned into this. But beware on wolves in sheeps clothing |

In the grand scheme of things, I guess you could say it comes with the territory. But that's just it...understanding it comes with the territory. Now, that doesn't make the personal attacks okay. However, it drastically dampens their intended effect to the point where they have no effect whatsoever. In short...sticks.and stones. |
Quote:
Nah man, its not my ego. It's that you're a ****ing moron. I have no problem admitting being wrong. Attacking me because I was wrong is on you and that's where we have a problem. You have some of the shittiest takes on this site. You can't even stand on your own merits and discuss football, much less players, without returning to what you've read. Now you carry on with this bullshit. Go back to enlightening Chiefs Coalition with your amazing takes. Oh that's right, they don't even like you there. |

Here was your comment: Quote:
I literally watch every bit I can of every player I forge an opinion on. If I haven't seen a player, I don't comment until I do, or I admit I haven't seen a guy play. And I've been doing it for 25 ****ing years. You went as far to assume I have no ****ing clue and stated as much. I watched Thornton and came away unimpressed with his ability I didn't see that speed on tape. That happens. I told you as much before you then proceeded to call me a fraud. Changing your post, despite the fact I quoted your original, doesn't make it somehow better. You acted like an asshole because I gave an opinion, its that simple. And now you get me being an asshole right back. Don't ask the rest of the board to pity your sorry ass. |
