Thread Overview
This is the 14th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.

Last year, we had 2 early hits: Xavier Worthy & Kingsley Suamataia. Let's see if we can get more this year.

For those who are new: the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.

I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of The Draft Network, NFL.com, or their team's website.

Andy Reid met with the entire BYU football team!

Nice initial crop of targets!

I feel like half these guys are on my list of guys I need to yet write up for prospects I like.

Especially on the list is Ahmed Hassanein, Micah Bernard and Chris Paul Jr.

I love Parrish as a CB and Green and Taylor are also nice players.

Not so enamored with Ali Jennings and Carson Vinson is VERY raw clay. Maybe a 7th round project I have little faith Andy Heck can develop.

Seeing Shemar James and Chris Paul Jr on the list makes me appreciate that Veach is looking for an athletic WLB. Tranquil was slow as **** this past year.

Ollie Gordon is NICE! Physical , contact balance is insane, punisher with some homerun speed.

Very happy to see Darius Alexander and Harmon there. A disruptive DT would be a huge upgrade.

He's probably 3rd round, but he's been sliding up into the bottom of 2 for some.

He's actually one of the more productive DTs in the class and has 3-down ability. He's not some amazing gap penetrator, but he has really good strength and length to be a plug at NT and give you a bit in the pass rush department.

To me, that's the type of guy we need right now next to Jones. I'd be willing to bet on Alfred Collins if he's there at the end of 2 as a higher upside guy. If we're looking at purely penetrating DTs that can disrupt but might be have some limitations anchoring against the run then I'd probably look more at guys like TJ Sanders and Ty Robinson.

If we don't go OT in round 1, I'd definitely be all about Tyleik Williams. I think he's a stud NT prospect. He won't be around at 63 though. Hell, he might not make it to 43.

That's interesting. I'm in total agreement that a NT with a little juice is the biggest need on this DL. I'd love Alfred Collins in the 2nd for that role. One guy I think I like a little more than Farmer is CJ West. Not at long but I think his get off is a little better. Just my 2 cents.

Aside from that the desperate need, for me, is speed on the edge. Not that Spags will ever prioritise it
