Sitting in the hospital waiting for surgery tomorrow morning...
 

I won't go into great detail here so as not to bore everyone..I am sitting in this hospital bed waiting for the impending surgery tomorrow morning. While in theory it is supposed to be non-critical and more exploratory I would still appreciate prayers and thoughts.

LOL...most of the Nurses around here are young enough to be my daughter....save for the one cranky person who wakes me up at 4 AM to take blood. I think she enjoys waking me up from a nice slumber just to draw blood in the most unpleasant way.

The other thing about being in the hospital....any dignity you think you may have left gets thrown out the window.

Man....that was a killer day!

I told my friend Henry that day that the only rule was that we just couldn't mention the heat. Not even once. We had to suck it up and soak in the sweat and not remotely complain. Absolutely brutal.

But also worth it as we saw the Frank Clark INT live that never made its way to the broadcast as TV coverage dropped just before it.

Never forget when that man had more picks on the season than Jalen Ramsey...

When I had my apendectomy, they wheeled me in to an OR wit 6-7 poeple. So I said, "I want it known, I am a grower not a shower....and when it grows, it's magnificent"

To say today didn't go as planned would be an understatement.....I did have the planned surgery but it ended up with additional decisions.

I am a bit worn out so I will explain more tomorrow.
