Rams give Stafford permission to talk to teams

Wow they really are trading his ass huh?

Maybe Cowherd is right. Trade Stafford for assets, sign Rodgers for a year for cheap and then build assets get a QB in 2026 draft.

Why sign Rodgers? If you're going to tank at least do it without the drama that ass clown would bring.

smithandrew051 02-22-2025 12:48 PM

Back to Detroit for Goff

Mr_Tomahawk 02-22-2025 12:55 PM

Raiders.

Deberg_1990 02-22-2025 12:58 PM

Sean McVay + Rodgers would be beautiful

RunKC 02-22-2025 12:59 PM

Actually think Darnold is who McVay is gonna target tbh. Vikings will not tag him

Lefleur was a McVay guy. No way.

Probably not. AR made it pretty clear that he doesn’t like presnap motion, and McVay’s offense is top-5 in that respect. Also, McVay wants to run the ball too much for AR.

Anything + Rodgers will be a ****ing disaster. I can't believe there are still people who don't get this.

Stafford out preformed Mahomes vs the eagles. Maybe bring him in for a look and healthy qb competition

Hey, if you are looking tank to tank hard while pretending you weren't..,

Rodgers is your guy.

Just make sure his contract has a cheap out.

So did Baker.

SHOWTIME 02-22-2025 03:40 PM

Giants

Sad break up. I could see Mr. Davis doing something here despite his stable of quarterbacks in Las Vegas. I could also see him going after Aaron Rodgers. He likes a big splash, if only for the headlines. Either one would add some spice to the division.

kccrow 02-22-2025 04:10 PM

How much do you really give up for a 37 year old QB, especially seeing how poorly the Aaron Rodgers deal was. A couple of 2nds plus like the Jets gave us seems foolish. Maybe give up a 2nd . You only make this move if you have a competitive roster and just need a QB. A team like Pittsburgh or Indianapolis maybe should make the move but I see no real others.

Rainbarrel 02-22-2025 04:19 PM

We know Rodgers can be good on grass

Chargem 02-22-2025 04:24 PM

I just don't understand what the Rams are doing here

Hammock Parties 02-22-2025 04:42 PM

Insulting.

ThyKingdomCome15 02-22-2025 05:01 PM

Our QB is broke we need a bandaid.

pugsnotdrugs19 02-22-2025 05:28 PM

Steelers would be best fit.

Raiders won’t shock me. Jets could explore it and he might just do it as a **** you to Rodgers.

The $tealer$ with a real quarterback could be scary.

I hope Rodgers goes there.

Seems like they think they’ve hit a ceiling with Stafford and they want to put their youth movement… which has already started on defense and at WR (especially after they trade Kupp) and RB into overdrive.

The challenge is they have no obvious QBOTF on their roster and this is a weak QB draft.

Either they’ll sign Darnold or maybe look at Aaron Rodgers as a cheaper stopgap option than Stafford? Of course Rodgers at age 41 is much less of a QB than Stafford currently.

Couch-Potato 02-22-2025 08:02 PM

Stafford to the Giants.

I just don't know why Stafford would want to do that. He's going to get beat to shit.

Davis is listening to Brady.

Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly is the "splash" you speak of but that really is Brady's doing. That team is going to be run differently.

You may be right. But I would bet on Davis doing what his dad would do. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Stafford wouldn't be a bad play for the Raiders.

Just depends on how much they'd have to give up in trade.

Chiefs trade Mahomes and get three #1 picks from a team?
Chiefs fix O line?
Chiefs sign Stafford and win another SB?

I only make that deal if it’s Josh Allen or Jayden Daniel’s. Maybe Burrow? Would have to throw in more picks.
