Why does he look like George Castanza in that picture???

Chief Roundup 01-17-2025 02:08 PM

Sucks to keep losing our people that are important to college scouting.

Any way we can convince the NFL he's a minority?

Y'all can have our guys, but can you send us some draft picks while you're at it?

Bl00dyBizkitz 01-17-2025 02:10 PM

Wow, he's been with us as a Scout since 2009? Holy shit, no idea its been that long.

Good luck to him.

Italians are minorities IMHO

Dante84 01-17-2025 02:11 PM

Someone is getting promoted. Mike Bradway?

PHOG 01-17-2025 02:13 PM

Ok, congrats Mike. :thumb: Borgonzi is Byegonzi.

KC Hawks 01-17-2025 02:13 PM

I find it funny that Pioli hired Borgonzi, Poles, and Brandt Tilis.

Damn. Tits got a good one. They should give us their second for the third we got from Sneed to soften the blow.

And Reid and Dorsey were smart enough to keep them on and give them a chance to grow and get promoted by Veach who grew at the same time they did

Have to continue to restock the talent in the personnel department.

It was Borgonzi all along.

chiefzilla1501 01-17-2025 02:38 PM

Sucks to lose good people but this is what we need. We need good people to be successful so that we keep attracting the best and brightest. Hope he does well. But good luck trying to beat us

Womble 01-17-2025 02:40 PM

His first move should be to trade the 1st overall pick in the 2025 draft to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Skyy Moore.

DJ's left nut 01-17-2025 02:43 PM

Granted, it's nice to be picking 1.1 if you're the Titans, but boy you're really working without a net picking 1.1 in THIS draft.

I mean in all probability this one ends up looking awfully similar to that 2013 draft when there wasn't much in the way of consensus and no real difference makers at QB.

It's definitely not the easiest spot to get dropped into...

RunKC 01-17-2025 02:44 PM

**** he was Veach’s right hand man. Not a crippling loss by any means but this does suck

It was bound to happen. We've been able to retain Spags and a lot of our coaching staff, but we were gonna lose someone somewhere.

MahomesMagic 01-17-2025 02:52 PM

Most likely taking a QB.

current lawsuits are pending that prevent these "affirmative action" type practices. McDonald's is currently being sued because they have a scholarship program targeting people of latin descent. They're basically claiming that you can't have any program that offer preference to any race over any other. Will be interesting to see how that all begins to play out.

dtrain 01-17-2025 02:54 PM

So does he leave right away, 2 weeks, or after Chiefs season done?

TLO 01-17-2025 02:55 PM

Haven't really paid much attention to prospects, but looking through the rankings its sure lacking in the blue chip department. The mocks I've looked at have Cam Ward going #1, woofta.

It really is too bad that they need a QB so bad. Seems like this would be a good year to trade down and get some defense, which they also need. It's not a good QB class.

I mean...they still could.

If the Raiders are hell bent on Sanders, make a deal with 'em. Let them go get Shadeur and rack up some extra picks for the coming years.

The QB you take at 1.1 this year isn't likely to be any better than some QB you could get at 1.8 most years. Trade down, rack up picks, be patient. This isn't a short turnaround for you in TN and if nothing else, you have the 2-3 year honeymoon period that comes with being the new GM.

They should absolutely be considering it.

Totally agree. They need to be patient. Taking a QB at 1.1 locks it in. They're now on the clock to produce a winner.

Swap picks with the Giants. Move down to 3 and get Abdul Carter or Hunter. Get some capital. Sign Famous Jameis as a bridge QB

Best decision Tennessee has made in a LONG time and my guess is this guy is gonna be what people thought Ballard would be.

Seriously, he's like...southern Italian. Like really far southern. It's practically Morocco. So he's basically North African. Now, give us our third round pick.

tyecopeland 01-17-2025 06:02 PM

The real question is: will he trade is that broke dick sneed for a 7th round pick?

Went to a board meeting where apparently some HR consultant told the exec team that people over 40 are now a protected class.

It is cheap to draft a letter. All they can say is LOL no.

I think he's definitely QB1 in this draft. Calm, keeps his eyes downfield, mobile enough to move the pocket or pickup some yards, can make all the throws... off-platform, off his back foot, etc.
