Chiefs 2025 Opponents
Looks like the Chiefs’ 2025 opponents are almost all set.
Home: Denver LA Chargers Las Vegas Baltimore Houston Indy Washington Philadelphia Minnesota Away: Denver LA Chargers Las Vegas Buffalo Tennessee Jacksonville Dallas NY Giants Minnesota could change to Detroit depending on which team wins the NFC North, and same with Pittsburgh replacing Baltimore if they win the AFC North. |
As of right now that schedule looks pretty good
|
20-0
|
Instead of counting prime time games, like I did in my 30s and 40s, now I just count the noon kickoff games. Looks like Indy and the Giants.

Jayden Daniel’s. Scary good

Mahomes vs Jayden Daniels might be a storyline as well. |

it would be extremely special for me to go to that game, having endured two chiefs losses in person in dallas and numerous barbs at dallas-area schools over my chiefs fandom |
We’ve never beaten the Giants on the road. This would be a first if we can pull it off

the chiefs will take part in a first of its kind "nfl after dark."
a revolutionary 2AM kickoff exclusively streamed live on onlyfans. |
I don't see Bengals there. Oh, that's right they are too shitty to win their division and will get the losers schedule to help them again.
|
2025 NFL Thursday night opener? I will go Wash @ KC. Jayden Daniels v Mahomes!
|
got some shit teams and some good teams, not bad
|
Mahomes has never played at Dallas, and he's from Texas. That will be a hyped game.
The game with Buffalo will get the same CBS treatment as every season. Hopefully, we end our regular season losing streak against them. |
That home schedule is a ****ing gauntlet.

Do we play Jaden Daniel’s to kickoff the season
|
One of those nfc games will make a great nfl season opener

Beat the Vikings or Lions at home Colts at Home Titans away Cowboys away Commanders at home Eagles at home Assuming he does all of that, that would leave him with these accomplishments still needed to complete his bingo card: @ Cincinnati Lions or Vikings home @ Green Bay @ Rams @ Seattle |

Dallas may be a fun away but I don’t want to give Jones any of my money.

My wife and I have wanted to see a Chiefs game in Jerry World since it was built. 2025 is the year.

Then we limped into the playoffs against dogshit teams and got the Titans debacle. Curse of the Kingdom! Rise of Mahomes! |

Away:
Jacksonville Dallas NY Giants Home: Baltimore Houston Indy Washington Philadelphia Minnesota No way we get all those top teams at home and play the scrubs on the road. The NFL is cheating for the Chiefs crowd will go nuts. |
Everyone will say Chiefs and Cowboys on Thanksgiving but if Roger wants to go after the NBA out of spite he'll put it on Christmas. Christmas is on a Thursday next year so there should be 3 games.

Home/Away schedule is insanely lopsided with only Buffalo as a hard road game. Hope the Jags game is one of their London games so I get to see the Chiefs live for the first time.

Didn’t we go to buffalo this year? I though it flipped each time the teams play each other?

Quote:
LA Chargers Las Vegas Baltimore Houston Indy Washington Philadelphia Minnesota We have 7/9 playoff teams at home and 3-4 away games with non-playoff teams? No way that's the real schedule. |

I feel like we play buffalo baltimore houston every freaking season

In 2020 we played at Buffalo because we played the whole AFC East Division and it was our turn to play there. Then in 2023 we played the AFC East and played Buffalo at home because it flips. In 2026 we'll go back to Buffalo In 2021 and 2022 we played them at home as the East vs West 1st place finishers. Since there are 3 other division champs it doesn't flip flop every other year. For example the AFC West champ plays the AFC East champ at home 2 straight years (21 and 22) and then it flips for 2 straight years. So we got them this year as division champs. We'll go back there in 2025 as division champs. Then in 2027 (because 2026 is a division v division year) we'll host them again (assuming both teams finish in the same position within the division in 2026). The schedule is a predetermined formula. https://fbschedules.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/ |

Every year you play:
6 Home and Away within division 2 Away vs another AFC division 2 Home vs the same AFC division 2 Away vs an NFC division 2 Home vs the same NFC division 1 Home vs team with same place finish in previous season in AFC 1 Away vs team with same place finish in previous season in AFC 1 Home/Away (it rotates every year) vs NFC team with same place finish in previous season vs the division that was played the season before last (the 17th game that was added a few years ago). |

That doesn't look anywhere near as difficult as this year.
Plus we don't have to fight the greatest dynasty in history. They do... |
Hopefully jacksonville game in London
|
Finally got that 9th home game!
Now, how will the League f with it? Home game in Europe? Part of another 3 games in 10 days stretch? |

We basically know 14 of our 17 opponents - and if they're home/away - several years out barring some overall scheduling change. |

But given how the league likes to do stupid shit with our schedule, we’ll likely end up with one any way, Because Chiefs (the ONLY time that saying is still relevant). |
The Raiders have become even more irrelevant.
|
What an awesome schedule for us. The Bills are the only tough non-divisional away game.
Home schedule is tough but it’s at home |

I know how they used to do the 16 game schedule. It was perfect.
How do they determine the 17th game? Do you play the NFC equivalent? The Chiefs are the 1 seed, so they will play the 1 seed from the NFC? |
Quote:
It's basically to keep some rotation where teams aren't just meeting each other every 4 years. |
Buffalo might as well join the AFC west that way we can occasionally get them at Arrowhead.
|
They're definitely familiar where the shitters are
|
If I'm clark i would say no short week this year. We're your money maker roger.

FOX had the most recent Dallas/KC game in 2021, so seems like CBS, NBC, or ABC/ESPN will get next year's match-up.
CBS gets the Dallas Thanksgiving game in 2025. Doubtful that the game will go to Amazon Prime, and of course it couldn't be played on Black Friday since Dallas plays on Thanksgiving. The broadcast networks would definitely be pissed if they gave the game to Netflix on Christmas. |
besides the jags, who've never played on thanksgiving, the chiefs actually have the longest thanksgiving day "drought" if you wanna call it that. so it would make sense to go to dallas then. i have a feeling the nfl likes to keep us on christmas though.

I just don't see them wasting the Chiefs/ Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Turkey Day will get the ratings anyway, and the Chiefs/ Cowboys will be a huge draw no matter when it's played.
|
Loving those road games against the AFC South.
