according to the link below, the only league stats they are in the top ten are sacks (5th) which must be an error because ESPN ranks them 31st with 1.2 sacks per game

and yards per rush (4.6) which I haven't verified. But in terms of yards and points they are in the bottom four in both offense and defense

I don’t think they played this week so they’ll have had two weeks to prepare for this. We also get everyone’s best shot so I’d imagine they’ll come out playing tough.

But they’re still the Panthers. Bryce Young is the type of QB Spags should eat alive. If we don’t comfortably pull away in this one by the 3rd quarter, I will certainly be annoyed. And I’m far from a doomer.

I hope the Chiefs play like they can play and use this as a get well game. Still, it's the NFL and anything can happen. The Panthers aren't just going to lie down. The problems with the OL, DL, LB and DB are still there. This is not the same team as last year and the league has another year of film to study.

Seems like a game where the Chiefs start out really slow because they are not taking it seriously. The three game stretch in ten days coming up has to be on their radar.

It is nice that we’re playing such a bad team this week.

We could be in for a letdown after that Bills game. Even a D effort should be a win.

Insanity. This is game where you test some shit out and see if you can’t develop some confidence in new ideas/concepts that haven’t been used much if any yet.

They need to blow the doors off this team and rest guys the 2nd half.

And they need to throw to Worthy a lot. Work on that connection

The pressure of being undefeated , expecting to win every week is a heavy load that is visibly wearing on our Chiefs. ,. Plus opponents are always up for this game. Your selling the panthers short if you think they can't win. Chiefs will need a good effort and specifically a good start..

If this game stays close entering the 4th, I will have a furrowed brow.

Going 10-0 was not something monumental that no team has ever accomplished before. A mentally tough team would have been able to do it. If the Chiefs got to 13 or 14 wins with no losses, then yeah, I can understand the whole pressure argument.

Our OL will have it's best game of the season.

We obviously should win easily. But that doesn’t seem to be our style this year. So I’m sure we will keep it exciting but I can’t imagine us losing to the Panthers.

This would be the game to get Perine/Steele some work, or activate CEH to shoulder some of the load for Hunt.

Carolina coming off a bye week, the Chiefs coming off the Buffalo game and second consecutive road game, might make this closer than expected.

We'll likely get everyone's first glimpse of Jonathan Brooks in NFL action this weekend. It's a good thing he'll be on a pitch count, otherwise I would expect him to go off for 180 yards and 2 TDs as some many other RBs did back in the day to make a statement against us before going on to become a household name of an NFL player.
