I actually really like how much he hates the Chiefs. Only makes it sweeter when we whip that ass. And I always feel like we see better performances when the players have these grudges as well.

I seriously doubt it. Chase has gotten into it several times w Chief defensive players. There's obviously bad blood there.

So i don't think Mahomes, as the leader of the team, is going to text with a guy who is always getting into fights with his teammates.

I guess Bengals fans just don't understand. You see, it actually is possible to win the Super Bowl. Lots of teams have done it. Not the Bengals, but lots of other teams. In fact, the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl in each of the last 2 seasons. So, all the Chiefs need to do is use that wealth of experience in winning postseason football games to win their next few postseason games and they will be in position to do what they've already done several times before. So, there is a way for the Chiefs to threepeat this year. Gonna be lots of fun.

Chase can't deal with reality. Those losers have this year and then the team gets blown up. Money will become an issue after Chase demands more than Jefferson money. Higgins will be out the door after another failed SB run and no money left for him.

PunkinDrublic 07-24-2024 12:21 PM

The Bengals #1 hater is their front office. They can’t manage to bring anybody in to protect Burrow. Chiefs lose to Tampa in the SB and immediately draft a pro bowl center and turn our line into a dominant force. Bengals front office isn’t talented enough to sustain a winning team.

I'd put a cool 50 bucks on it. It'll probably only be worth about 10 bucks by the time his career officially ends, so I'm willing to take the risk and hope for the reward of him chasing a ring that he'll never get in Cincy while playing for the QB he secretly loves. :)

I don’t know if I would say that the Bengals front office isn’t talented enough so much as they are too cheap. Paul Brown was a notorious penny-pincher and it appears that trait was passed to his son. I know the rumors about Clark, particularly with regards to KC’s facilities. But Clark will pay to bring in talent. Look at Reid and Burt Bleach and contracts for Mahomes and Jones and others.

Bengals front office had to pay for Burrow because realistically there’s no way round that. But Bengals’ front office will break decades of cheap behavior if they start spending money on lots of players. Remaining competitive after this year is going to be difficult anyway, with a number of players becoming eligible for their first non-rookie contracts. That, coupled with the bengals notoriously tight fists, I think Bengals Super Bowl chances go way, way down after this coming year. Burrow, when healthy, is a good QB. Surround him with the Raiders’ talent, though, and that’s not nearly enough to win in this league.

No, they're honestly just not good at understanding the importance of a strong Oline and on top of that, they're not good at evaluating who would make up a good line.

They thought Burrow would cover all that up. They thought they'd re-invent the wheel and load up on weapons while throwing out 5 guys that they thought were 'good enough' to get the job done.

You notice that with a good QB and a good O line it really helps to cover up some deficiencies in the WR room. Though Mahomes really helps to smooth a lot of that out.

I'm jellies.

Reminds me of the Bengals 2022 Playoff run when Bengals D carried Joe to the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, Joe couldn’t get it done when the spotlight turned to him.
