See ya in shitville, queer
|
Trash comp
|
2025 3rd and 2024 7th round pick swap. What an abysmal trade.
|
That is not what I was hoping for
|
Basically a fourth rounder and to a team in the AFC. That blows.
|
Well that's...not the return I would have liked it to be.
|
That is some old bullshit. Should have just kept him.
|
I swear every NFL team agreed to not trade with us unless we got ass ****ed.
Goddamn bullshit. They never did this to the patriots |
Wow just read an article 5 hours ago that said the Titans had agreed on a second round pick but couldn't meet his salary demands. Veach must have plans for that cap space so let's see what he does with it.
|
Trading him to the flaming meatballs? In Veach we trust?
|
In Burt I trust.
|
Ctrl + z
|
Shocked that’s all we could get
|
He’s off the books. Let Veach cook and get ready for the 3-peat.

We have no LT, we have Thuney who’s injury status we don’t know. I love Sneed, but we have pressing issues to deal with for the threepeat.
|
Well, thats... underwhelming. Is what it is, though. In Veach we trust.
|
Vartch strikes again!!!111!1!!1!
Master class, i tells ya! Hell, if i knew he was going that cheap, i have half a king sized Reese's cup left over i would have given for him. |
Really needed the cap for a bum ass LT and some scrubmuffin roster filler I guess.
|
Was hoping it would be better.
|
lame.
welp. was kinda hoping we could keep him on the tag for one more run oh well. I liked Sneed a lot. not sure why we didn't get more... |
Goddamn.
That sucks. It's possible his knee isn't good. |
Also LMAO at Dianna Russini saying the Chiefs would “for sure” get a 1st.

His knee and age really hurt his market value
|
Disappointing return but let’s see what the plan for that money is.
|
Pretty weak comp. I was fully in favor of trading him, but even I’m underwhelmed by that.
I guess the additional cap space is nice. I’ll have to just assume there’s more to this story. |
Why not keep him on the tag this year, and get a comp pick in 26?
This does nothing for us this year except $20MM more in cap as we head into the 3rd wave of Free Agency. I mean, trust in Veach, but I’m confused. Do we just early sign next years guys? Is there a trade incoming? |

From Chiefs end, he was traded for cap space. |
Yeah that’s an L for Veach. Missed out on free agency for more or less the comp pick we would have gotten for him had he not been tagged
|
Yikes…I knew it would be a low ball deal, but that seems REALLY bad. Oh well, let’s take that money and start filling holes
|
Veach doesn’t make bad trades this will work itself out
|

Wow.
That's just an awful return. ****ing hell. I'd have just rescinded the tag and hoped he signed in the NFC just to do the guy a solid before I accepted that deal. Thats offensively horrible. |

I thought they lost leverage when they signed Jones after tagging Sneed. I didn’t think they lost this much leverage.
But this was the market and they clearly never had any intention of having Sneed play on the tag. They gambled and lost. If you trust Veach as I do, you move on here. But wow, not satisfying at all. |

This sucks.
|
Another example of Veach sucking at big name trades. He must've been desperate to unload the tag number, probably to sign a free agent LT.

not great value but it is what it is. When you have the quarterback you just can't pay everyone and we grow DB's on trees here in KC.

Chiefs got his best years. We won the trade. He is 27. The CP overreaction planet strikes once again.
|
We’ll have plenty of cap room now and fire power if we wanna move up in the draft.
Don’t doubt Veach when it comes to trade. Knee-jerk reactions aren’t healthy. |

If this was the best he could do, he could've done it 3 weeks ago. This is an L. And a fairly bad one at that. He overplayed his hand and then blinked. |
We got ****ed on this deal absolutely horrible return
|

Did he suck with the Hill trade? What a dumb narrative. |

We’ll have to see what moves follow and what Sneed’s future looks like. |

Possibly unfair but Chris need to ball out even more
|
What a garbage trade.

Veach waited in the hopes that a trade market would develop for Sneed… and that never materialized. |
Quote:
|
Oof.
It’s a cold world. |
Quote:
|
That was... less than I expected.
|
Wait that is next years 3rd. Yeah I am not buying that
|
If we use the cap space I'm good.
If we don't it looks horrible. |
Quote:
I think his knee really dropped his value. Teams didn’t want to pay him a lot and give up high assets for that risk |
Embarrassing trade. 3rd year in a row with a sub par FA period that has blown a huge headwind for this team. How was that not done two weeks ago before every FA was signed.
Lucky Veach can draft players. (& has Mahomes). |

This trade I am not a fan of. |
Got screwed.

Don't we have a pretty good record of developing DB's?
I will trust the processs I guess. |

Apparently Sneeds value wasn't that great.
|
Not sure if it was posted here but earlier today an article cited the Athletic saying the Titans had agreed to a 2nd (didn't say year) but fell apart when Sneed wouldn't budge on salary. Man this is a huge dropoff. Will be interesting to see what he got.
|

You have to remember Sneed broke his collarbone, had a concussion and has a nagging knee issue. Veach took what he could and saved us hella money. I’m not mad at all |
Like it’s so bad that I feel like there has to be a second step to this.
Just extend Bolton/Creed now so the cap is easier next year? |
Wow.
Only explanation I can think of is his knee is worse than we think or maybe Sneed wasn't going to play on the Tag? Why not just keep him for the 3peat run? |
Quote:

Sneed is old for free agent corner (27) and has injury issues. Lots of red flags on him for a huge deal. Hell of a Chief, wish him the best.

That trade has to be backwards.
