Pat:

I run scared. I'm not fast but I'm quick. If they had somebody chasing me at the combine I would have run a 4.4.ROFL

I don't have NFL Network and I want to see this so bad! :deevee:

https://www.fubo.tv/welcome

go to fubo.tv and sign up for a free trial

watch the show

cancel the trial

you win

you have about 9 minutes to pull it off

TribalElder 09-06-2023 06:52 PM

or you could hold off on the fubo free trial and use it later in the year when they put one of the Chiefs games on a funky channel

ThaVirus 09-06-2023 06:58 PM

Pretty nice touch with the player interviews in key moments.

I hadn’t noticed Chris Jones drew the double team on the Bolton fumble recovery TD. He really has been such a massive key to our success in big games.

It took me eight minutes to see this. Is the last minute going to be worth it?

It might.

I figure it'll show up on youtube at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.

NFL Networks is my biggest loss in dropping cable TV.

Several things I didn't see. Like Reid trying to call a TO on the TD to Sky. He just asked the wrong ref. The replacement in case of a ref injury.

That commercial is no bueno.

I've watched the NFL films, Franchise, etc etc stuff over and over and over and over and over again from the season and this has a *ton* of stuff that wasn't in any of those.

Best takeaway is that MVS's signaling that he's open both against the Jags and Bengals probably got us to the SB.

But this is a must-watch for anyone who feels like they knew the entire story of the team.

But CP said MVS sucks and we should cut him

The “Times Yours 2” documentary with the Chiefs coaches talking strategy throughout last season was great.

David Girardi (QB Coach this year, Passing Game Analyst last year) and Greg Lewis talked about how they drew up Corn Dog based on tendencies they saw with Philly’s defense vs a similar offensive play in their regular season game vs Jacksonville.

But the Chiefs almost didn’t use it in the Super Bowl because they feared Toney slipping on the play. He slipped during the week of practice when they ran it and with the slippery field conditions, they feared a similar result in the game.

Glad they went ahead with the play call obviously.

Andy talked to Doug before the SB. They used a few of the Jags concepts in the SB bc the Jags killed them with it earlier in the year.

I hate that I dislike CJ right now, as he's really a likeable guy. Apparently, the Matt Ryan unsportsmanlike was a more colorful version of "get your old ass up", which is pretty ridiculous.

Good show overall, but I was disappointed they did not show Toney’s punt return. It was one of the most important plays of the Super Bowl.

I thought that was odd to completely leave that out

I liked that they confirmed that the Eagles were still passing receivers off to each other with the motion early in the game too.

Not to mention the fact that we had only used Corn Dog in game one time and that was week 1 against the Cardinals.

This shit really is chess, not checkers.

ThaVirus 09-07-2023 07:07 AM

Which makes me wonder: is there someone on each staff watching their own film checking for tendencies? Because this was a pretty glaring weakness in that Eagles defense. You’d think someone in their building would have noticed and worked to change it over the course of the season.

That's what the Chiefs do during the bye week. They have the the coaching staffs scout the other side of the ball.

I'm sure the Eagles passed off coverage like that a million times during the season without issue. So if something works 98% of the time, then why not go with it? But that's why it's great we have the coaching staff we do because they knew the exact right time to use the dagger.

The view from the defensive backfield showing the size of that hole it left in the OL was wild. The RG really hosed that blocking scheme up trying to double Jones. Yea Hurts shouldn't have dropped the ball there but he was about to get smoked by Bolton and had to make a quick move, That wasn't an unforced error, that was a forced error.
