Hotels Near Arrowhead
I'm sure something similar has been asked a thousand times, but I'm looking for hotel recommendations near Arrowhead. Something relatively modest, since the room is only for drinking, screwing, and sleeping. I don't need room service or a rooftop bar, but I also don't need bedbugs trying to crawl up my asspipe while I sleep.

You're better off under a bridge

The Ramada Inn is beautiful

Lots of shitty ones. The one across the street where Cocos used to be is a real nice piece of shit. Lots of bed bug problems
|
Stay on the plaza.
|
Pro Tip: You don't have to worry about bed bugs too much if you bring your own!
|
I've never taken my own bed to a hotel before but ok
|
The hotels within actual walking distance of the stadium all suck, unfortunately. They're overpriced on game days and otherwise don't stay busy enough to generate the revenue to keep them up.
You can find better options if you go a little to the east and just accept that you'll have to drive in for the game. Or you can Uber, but that's a bit of a cluster for at least an hour after the game. |
I've heard that Adams Mark across the street is a dump, but I've never stayed there myself. What about Dreary Inn? is that place still there?

With all that shit being rundown I'm shocked one of these local developers hasn't bought up the burned down dennys, adams mark, and coco fleas and torn them all down to build out a bad ass new hotel or two
that shit would pay out huge, not only for Chiefs games but for the world cup in 26 |

The Drury in Independence. That’s all you need. That place is awesome and only like 10 min away down the interstate.
|
Just get an airbnb in the hood
|
Just stay downtown - it's a 10 minute drive and easy into the stadium via Gate 6(?) The Hampton Inn Crossroads is in a great spot, stay there whenever I'm in town.
Help me @007 |
Holiday Inn Express in Raytown. It will be the closest you will get to the stadium that's clean. Bonus it very close to Harp BBQ the best IMO in the whole KC area.

I assumed you'd just PM billay about a place to stay and sing about your 4th margarita.

Agree with all of this. If I hit a game, I move away from the stadium a bit to avoid having my wallet raped. The last time I stayed right by Arrowhead, I stayed at the Adams Mark. It was VERY overpriced and a complete dump. Honest to God, your average crack whore hotel, like a Motel 6, would have been a noticeable upgrade. I think that dump is closed now, (Thank God) but the other ones near it aren't much better, at least that was my experience. |
The Blue Bird Motel is nearby on 40 hwy. Here is the first review I found of the place:
"Yes you could place to just go and do the dirty you know me and my girlfriend used to go there is two to three times a week and every every time we went they gave room 301 he put a big grin on his face and me to bring the kids a room 301 and I guess that's because of mirrors behind the mirror is cameras so we just gave him a good show we got good prices so he'd rather stay all day for 25 bucks but he got one hell of a show" Second Review: "Great for what it is. Not really a family , kid friendly type establishment. Free adult movies already streaming to your room without having to ask. ( A great service ). But on my last visit the streaming service was not working. Rooms are clean , air conditioned, and basic. Not available for overnight stays. 2 hour rentals $40. 40 bucks every 2 hours. Pretty steep." |
Hotel Phillips was recommended to me when I came to KC first time and that's where I stayed and then Marriot second time.
Both very good places. Near stadium is garbage. |

We stayed in the one behind the taco bell across from the stadium during the draft. Kind of a dump but we needed a room for drinking, screwing and showering like you. Checked all the boxes.

I'd base it on where you are coming in from and where you will be going afterwards. If you are coming from the north, stay in Liberty. From the east, Blue Springs. From the south, near Lees Summit, From the west you are screwed.
|
Stoney Creek in Independence; not the cheapest; but good location & not a dump.

carcosa met the ex (Ubeja Vontell) in the trivia forum. After Ubeja was banned from the trivia forum due to lack of knowledge about track & field, she became depressed and refused to poop.
carcosa begged her to loose but she wouldn't and she died. Then, as we all know, CP user HornyCoyote went to town. |
There are a few middling level hotels located across the street from Worlds of Fun, if all you're looking for is her biting the pillow then passing out.
- Springhill Suites by Marriott KC Northeast - Hampton Inn KC Northeast - Holiday Inn - Candlewood Suites - Best Western All off of Parvin Road and literally 10 minutes at most from the stadium. |
Hotel lotus is across from arrowhead
|
Have you considered sleeping in a van with tinted windows?

Yeah ok. Enjoy your BBQ. Stay downtown. The city will be wearing red, there will be a lot of fans to mingle with, and a light rail to get you to all the bars and restaurants. Stay in one of these other areas recommended and you might end up eating at a waffle house in the parking lot. |
Stay at Clay's pad.

It was nothing more than a BS dig years ago that turned into a BS rumor. Red'N'Feisty was well liked by everyone here. She moved on from the board not too long after Clint. All you are doing is allowing him to throw her under the bus, when she isn't here to defend herself. I'd take all allegations/insinuations with a grain of salt. |

Is Adam's Mark still up and running? If you just need a bed for the night I have no idea why you wouldn't go that route. Walk to stadium then back with no worries.
Ask for a no smoking room unless you smoke because circulation isn't a quality it possesses. |
