SNF Dolphins vs Chargers

Should be fun.

Sunday Night Football - Dolphins @ Chargers

Most intriguing sunday nighter of the year IMO, I need to see these Dolphins in action to make up my mind about them

kcpasco 12-11-2022 07:26 PM

Chiefs win the division with a Chuggers loss. Such a tough division.

Bearcat 12-11-2022 07:26 PM

Thread merge is weird sometimes... told it to use your thread, so it used your title with my OP. :doh!:

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:26 PM

Chargers suck at run defense, pass all 3 downs

displacedinMN 12-11-2022 07:28 PM

yellowstone, then football

Has any QB be carried as much as Herbert?

Easy 6 12-11-2022 07:33 PM

Whoa damn, krazy toss and catch

FloridaMan88 12-11-2022 07:33 PM

At 49ers, at Chargers tonight, then at Buffalo on Saturday… brutal three game stretch for the Dolphins.

I think his coaching holds him back.

LMAO just don't stumble and thats six

ping2000 12-11-2022 07:38 PM

Staley. Dumb**** incarnate.

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:38 PM

bad pass by Herbert IMO. Needed to lead him more.

MarkDavis'Haircut 12-11-2022 07:38 PM

Staley never learns.

FloridaMan88 12-11-2022 07:38 PM

Chargers gonna Charger.

^this^ if he leads him, it's a TD.

No. Pat doesn’t underperform with that Chargers talent.

DRM08 12-11-2022 07:39 PM

Chargers did the same thing as the Tyreek play to end the first half of the Cincy playoff game.

Sassy Squatch 12-11-2022 07:39 PM

Man, if you're gonna do it have a better play than that garbage.

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:39 PM

I would have kicked the FG but I can understand they are scared of Hill going off

SupDock 12-11-2022 07:40 PM

Drop?

tk13 12-11-2022 07:41 PM

The funny thing is for years people wanted coaches to go for it more in those situations, and it's probably the right call lots of times, but now that teams are doing it you can see where it hurts you down the line.

Chiefs might not win the game today if Reid didn't just take the points in the first two drives today. It would have been tied in the 4th quarter. Seems like there are a lot of games now where the endgame would look different if a team had just taken 3 somewhere earlier in the day.

That is because fans assume it is easy to pick up fourth downs. It is not.

Easy 6 12-11-2022 07:43 PM

Tua just keeps on improving, not gonna lie I didn't see it coming... figured he was a 100% grade A bust

He somehow makes that weakass left arm work for him, weird

SupDock 12-11-2022 07:44 PM

Probably should have kept it

Coach 12-11-2022 07:45 PM

Brutal throw. That should have been picked.

EPodolak 12-11-2022 07:45 PM

didn't realize Tyreek had a franchise record kind of year

He had 2 pro bowl receivers.

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:45 PM

Tua looking like ass so far. Maybe teams are now figuring this Fins offense out

That sure looked like a noodle arm throw from Tua.

He's been toying with an NFL record pace.

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:47 PM

Fins offense was humming when they spread the ball around. Seems like they are trying to force feed Tyreek

Yeah, and Staley has a knack for going for it early and then kicking when he should really go for it.... it's like he sees no value in early possessions, but late in games he turtles under the pressure of just wanting points.

He also seems to love going for the 4th and goals, which is of course more difficult than anywhere else on the field and you have coaches that overthink the short yardage stuff on top of it.

No doubt he's better and more confident, and obviously a large part of that is just a really solid assortment of weapons and better system.

That said, this is about the time of year when some DCs may catch up to what they're doing and be able to make adjustments. I'll be interested to see if the 49ers blueprint last week carries over for the rest of the season (not easy because the 49ers have more talent on D than almost anyone else, but we've seen it firsthand when a team's bread and butter is kinda exposed and it changes the way an offense looks).

dirk digler 12-11-2022 07:51 PM

No catch

SupDock 12-11-2022 07:52 PM

Thought I saw pebbles flying

blake1771 12-11-2022 07:52 PM

not a catch, but i doubt they overrule it.

edit: i stand corrected. it WAS a catch.

After seeing that angle, it's definitely a catch.

He's spoiled like a silver spoon baby with surrounding talent no doubt, its like he's right back in college

tk13 12-11-2022 07:55 PM

If they'd seen that second angle they wouldn't have challenged it.

ping2000 12-11-2022 07:55 PM

Herbert has a face you just want to punch. Very punchable.

Easy 6 12-11-2022 07:56 PM

Herbert was acting like he had all day, making a grilled cheese back there lol

I didn't think so but they showed a view that showed the second foot dragging but I think it was the right call to challenge based on what they saw at the time

yeah i edited by OP after seeing that elusive 3rd angle lol

mr. tegu 12-11-2022 07:58 PM

Sucks for the Dolphins not getting that other view.

kcpasco 12-11-2022 07:58 PM

Herbert gonna crash hard. That franchise is gonna do him in faster than Rivers.

Easy 6 12-11-2022 08:03 PM

Hill should've had that one

tk13 12-11-2022 08:03 PM

What happened there? Tyreek was open and just missed it.

Hammock Parties 12-11-2022 08:03 PM

tua is a brutal ****

comochiefsfan 12-11-2022 08:05 PM

I'd say I'm not scared of Miami but I'm sure with our defense they would still roll up the points on us.

It's just like Cincy I'm afraid, the worry is we play aggressive man-to-man defense and it gives the WRs chances to win matchups. Even if you keep them down, it only takes one goof up and a guy like Chase or Tyreek will roast you.

dirk digler 12-11-2022 08:10 PM

Why? He seems like a quiet, humble guy, that was a criticism of him coming out. Very respectful of Mahomes.

smithandrew051 12-11-2022 08:16 PM
