Army and Navy face off at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly today at 3PM Eastern. This is the 123rd meeting of the rivalry that dates back to 1890, when the first game was held on the West Point parade grounds. Navy leads the series 62-53-7.

I'll be watching at a Navy grad's house... with a bunch of Navy grads... who all fly for the Navy. Naturally, I had to commission this cake:

I wonder if long-time Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo is fighting for his job. This is his third straight losing season in what has been a successful career in Annapolis. A win against Army can cure all.

Seems like Navy is content to let the defense try to get a couple more stops to win the game. I guess I get it but just have seen that be a get you burned strategy a bunch also. Army at least has a guy that can chuck it deep. All you need is him to connect once.

Navy can't cover. Tie or loss is the only question remaining. Army has figured out how to take control of this game. Unless they turn the ball over, Navy is in trouble.
