How many excused will Justin Herbert get after the game for losing?

I hate working game days but I had to pick up for the hours as Thursday and Friday will be Holliday and I'll be in premium overtime and I need all the overtime I can get for a big payday. Ch ching. I consider it my Christmas bonus even though I'm working for it. I'm sure I'll get to see some of the game.

Last time I worked a game day years ago it was against Buffalo Bills and the nurse threatened to give me a shot if I didn't settle down. I settled down but it was the last time I watched a game at work I think that was 7 years ago.

The only way Chargers fans can have an adiance in attendance to keep Chiefs fans from being over abundant is if Philip Rivers bought all his kids tickets to the game.

One is in WV, the other in Missouri, but I'm not sure how that relates to us kicking the chargers asses...

Chiefs should win this game for two reasons:

1) Chargers D Line isn't as good as it was in the prior meeting, mainly due to injuries. Bosa, Covington and Austin Johnson are all out. If you can't pressure Mahomes, good luck in winning this game.
2) Defense is healthy. Our entire secondary is fully healthy. Herbert didn't have to face McDuffie and a more experienced Williams in the first meeting. He will have a hard time keeping up with Mahomes, especially considering one of his two best receivers may not even play.

Time for Skyy Moore to play well and NOT fumble.

I think Herbert is much more physically gifted than Tua, but he just can't seem to win more than he loses.

Chargers always play us tough. I don't see this game being any different, regardless of who is out with injuries.

San Diego has been mediocre at home this year with a 2-2 record. Wins coming against the bottom dwellers of the division, faid and donkshow. They got whooped by the Seachickens and the Jags.

both teams have top receivers either hobbled, or out.

One thing that I could see happening whether Clay likes it or not, is that minus Juju and Hardman and against a shit run defense, it would make a lot of sense to run the ball especially if LA tries to keep a light box. Toney's brand new to the offense, and Moore is inexperienced, so helping them to get good looks could be really important. Two and three TE sets would be a great thing to lean on too, being short WR's.

On the other hand, if MVS is 100%, I have great confidence in him and Watson.

No Bosa, right? That helps. Hope we're rolling with The Winnebago.

I'm going to try an experiment today. I won't be available for the game, but I bought a subscription to crappy NFL+ again. I've learned that it supposedly works on my phone, but not my computer since the NFL wants to make things as unpleasant for fans as possible. So I'll watch the game tomorrow morning and try to avoid the news until then.

Moore's going to be fine. He's just not a freak athlete type, and the only guys that have meaningful contributions *(as a rookie) on Andy Reid teams at WR are the freaks, where he can scheme them touches and they go do freaky stuff. So Toney is making him look bad by comparison.

I have zero doubt that Moore will have a great season in '23 and be a meaningful contributor.
