Unlike those 2 guys, Wylie was adequate last season.

Niemann actually wasn’t complete shit, wouldn’t mind him back for depth

This is a good signing. For the money the dude is solid.

Welcome Back!

Good signing as our RT and G backup. Now let's find our starting RT.

Hammock Parties 03-16-2022 04:41 PM

my man

BossChief 03-16-2022 04:44 PM

I’m happy we brought him back. Surprised he didn’t get more interest.

louie aguiar 03-16-2022 04:45 PM

You can’t have stars at every position. Wylie exceeded my expectations last year and was an averageish starting RT, also played with an attitude that was nice to see.

Hoover 03-16-2022 04:49 PM

I'm not going to bitch

Titty Meat 03-16-2022 05:03 PM

Hes a good depth guy

Bump 03-16-2022 05:05 PM

solid depth

ChiliConCarnage 03-16-2022 05:06 PM

Good signing at the price. I like him and he can fill several positions if needed

Wylie actually looked fairly decent last year, but I don’t know if I’d trust him to hold down the RT position against the new onslaught of pass rushers we’ll be facing.

Seems like they paid him backup money. Hopefully that means they will still look to upgrade.

loochy 03-16-2022 06:55 PM

This is good. He's cheap and relatively decent for a backup

gblowfish 03-16-2022 07:14 PM

He matched up with his old college team mate Maxx Crosby great. I think he's good depth and he's been able to stay healthy. Good keep. I like him.

Rasputin 03-16-2022 07:23 PM

He held his own for the most part but my favorite is him holding up a defender and Trey Smith levels him out.

He can play along the line in a pinch and I think that's what versatile reasoning on bringing him back. I'll always root for him.

Buehler445 03-16-2022 07:25 PM

At 2.5 I’m happy. If it’s 10 I’m pissed.

ShortRoundChief 03-16-2022 07:27 PM

My only complaint is that they should have stated he needs to do something else with his creepy pedophile facial hair.

bobhill 03-16-2022 07:27 PM

Who?

splatbass 03-16-2022 08:39 PM

I’m glad we had him last year, we would really have been in trouble without good depth. I hope we don’t need him this year, but it’s good to have him in case we do.

Heard Grunhard on the radio tonight saying he thinks Trey Smith could move out to right tackle and hold it down. I admit I never even considered the possibility, but I'm intrigued.

tredadda 03-16-2022 08:49 PM

He’s not an All Pro by any stretch of the imagination, but he is solid and versatile enough that this is a good signing, especially for the money.

Pitt Gorilla 03-16-2022 09:21 PM

Very glad he's back.

Cosmos 03-16-2022 09:47 PM

Hopefully “The Process” results in Wylie not starting at any spot on the OL, and where he serves as a very capable back-up, where the starting spots are held down by players with more talent.

Not hatin……hoping.

Easy 6 03-16-2022 09:47 PM

Yeah fine, a meat and potatoes depth move

I'm just waiting to see how Veach' slow burn approach turns out

We've so far signed Reid, and resigned Burton, Henne and Wylie... sooo many more moves to go, get crackin Burl
