Rams are constantly trading away their draft picks

For those complaining about KC this is more "all in" then we ever went.

Rams will have to cut everyone and have no draft picks in 2 years.

I don't get it. This trade is all about "win now" but the guy is constantly hurt anymore. I mean, isn't he injured RIGHT NOW?

It’s actually genius.

The idea behind it is that whoever the picks are traded for are more valuable than any production from future picks. If you’re picking in the early to mid 20s every year, that’s probably not a wrong interpretation.

Unless we meet in the SB, that puts Von retiring winless against Mahomes and an 11 game losing streak to KC. Love it!!

Yep! That's all I'm seeing too. Makes both of our Broncos games easier, and who knows what happens to the Rams in the playoffs? We might not even have to play them if we somehow make it to the SB.

It doesn't really hurt the Broncos. They got a decent return for the guy actually.

If the Rams win a SB, it's worth it. If they don't, it's not.

It weakens their defense, so that's a win for us this year.

The Rams now have their 5th and 7th round picks in next years draft. Plus a 3rd round comp pick.

Super Bowl is in their home stadium. He's pushing all his chips to the middle of the table this year. Trying to host the game and get that trophy (like Tom and the Bucs last year). Just another reason why I believe teams shouldn't get to 'host' the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs have much bigger hurdles this year than Von Miller.

I mean, the Broncos as a whole might be 6th or 7th on the list of things that make this season difficult. Even with Miller, they're the worst team in the AFCW.

People have been saying this about the Rams for like 5 years now.

This current version of the Chiefs gives them a run for their money though.

I don't think it's a viable long-term solution, but for keeping a window open and contending it is as long as their big $$ players continue to perform(Donald, Stafford, Ramsey).

This Chiefs team will return to the mean as the season goes on, especially the offense.

Yeah, they look bad right now and the defense is just awful but they're still a better team than Denver and it's really not that close because of Mahomes.

No, it’s a great move for them, just starting to feel like Rodgers isn’t going anywhere.

As long as the Packers are a contender with him, I don’t see them trading him.

I also don’t think the Broncos are as sexy of a destination as they were in the offseason. I think people are starting to see that there was a lot of hype for a roster that doesn’t deserve it yet.

I don't think they'll be viewed as a dream destination until they move on from Fangio.

He's the best defensive player of the last decade.

That's a given. The real issue is who they replace werthers originals with.

IMHO, the Broncos forced themselves to hold on to Von too long by paying too much on the 2016 contract. Good job getting something out of the situation.

Meh. The tackles have a lot of room to improve and they're just 7 games in to their first season playing together, with two rookies still starting.

Our tackles will be okay.

The injuries didn't help... losing Chubb and Miller and 2 other LBs, added in with Jeudy and Hamler... then we lost 2 OL for a few games. It was a rough few weeks right when the competition level rose quite a bit.

Overall, I think they have a lot of strong young skill players. They absolutely need a stronger coaching staff.

Well Von Miller is gone and Chubb is entering brokedick territory.

That alone makes me question how good the defense is going to be for the next couple of seasons. Other than Surtain and Simmons, there’s really not much there to get excited about.

On offense, Jeudy has yet to prove anything, Sutton is set to be a FA, and Javonte Williams hasn’t lived up to the hype.

It’s not a bad roster, but it’s nowhere near as good as people were making it out to be either.

Again, I think a lot of that speaks to the high sucktitude of the coaching staff as well.

What would LA give us for Frank Clark?

Well that is the end of an era in Denver. The rebuild is on and the QB hunt continues.

I think a big issue for the Broncos is the OL. Even with the line whisperer, it's just meh.

So, with Henry out in TN... Denver should send them Melvin Gordon. MG is an UFA next year. Trade Gordon and let Williams run the show the rest of the way. Get something for Gordon and move on.

I still have a hard time believing that an offense led by Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp as their #1 WR are going to advance through the playoffs against a tough NFC slate of contenders.

I also think that Matt Stafford is highly underrated. He played for the Lions. If he had played for a well-run team I think he'd be in the mix as a top 4 or 5 QB in the league.
