A WR please and an edge rusher. Possibly a CB as well
|
Still some good WRs. No DE we pick is going to start anyways, so get one that has the upside. I’d still look at Wade if they want a NB. Plenty of safeties that would be upgrades over Watts.
|
I think we go WR, CB, and EDGE for sure on day 3.
The other pick will either be a S or TE. Probably S. |

There are SEVERAL good WR prospects in there.
my favorites would be Amon-Ra, Wallace, and Imatorbhebhe. But I like a lot of them actually. I spent a fair amount of time looking at a bunch of those kids since February. |
It’s easy to see why the Chief feel comfortable going DE and WR on day 3.
Plenty of talent available. I mentioned this in the CP mock draft thread as well back when I was picking for them. There seems to be depth at those positions well into day 3. We’re good. |
Tamorrion Terry, WR, FSU please and some DBs
|
I thought maybe Imatorbhebhe would be a good developmental X receiver. He does has above-average vertical speed, but I believe he does have the skills to be an absolute terror at the catch point in a vertical passing offense.

Shaun Wade was burnt toast in the playoffs
|
These are the guys I’d be good with them taking.
Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC Seth Williams, WR, Auburn Josh Imatorbhebhe, WR, Illinois. Marquez Stevenson, WR, Houston Cade Johnson, WR, South Dakota St. Austin Watkins, WR, UAB Cornell Powell, WR, Clemson Tamorrion Terry, WR, FSU Keith Taylor, CB, Washington Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio St. Trill Williams, CB, Syracuse Rodarius Williams, CB, Oklahoma St. Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan St. Kary Vincent Jr., CB, LSU Shemar Jean-Charles, CB, App St. Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, FSU Jamar Johnson, S, Indiana Talanoa Hufanga, S, USC Tyree Gillespie, S, Missouri James Wiggins, S, Cincinnati Jamien Sherwood, S, Auburn Joshua Bledsoe, S, Missouri Jacoby Stevens, S, LSU Darrick Forestt, S, Cincinnati Christian Uphoff, S, Illinois St. Rashad Weaver, EDGE, Pittsburgh Jordan Smith, EDGE, UAB Elerson Smith, EDGE, Northern Iowa Janarius Robinson, EDGE, FSU Daelin Hayes, EDGE, Notre Dame Adetokunbo Ogundeji, EDGE, Notre Dame Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami Kenny Yeboah, TE, Ole Miss Nick Eubanks, TE, Michigan Matt Bushman, TE, BYU |

Yea I think Wade is a NB only, and that’s fine. It’s exactly what we need.
|

I think right now....I’d rather not spend picks on TEs or RBs.
|
They updated the players already taken so you start in the 4th round.

Tylan Wallace would be my 1st choice.
|
Amon Ra is super fluid through the hips and changes direction/adjusts on the ball really well....he just doesn't get stuck in a route which I really like. I think he'd be a helluva NFL level addition to Mahomes toys with his route running and also catches it really easily. He will also keep the play alive for his quarterback in a way that's incredibly handy with the way Pat plays.
Tylan has fewer tricks even if he's more explosive and I don't see him being an immediate help in the same way as St Brown. I also like the CB from Michigan State (he's nickel only), plays a bit like Molden. Easy back pedal and doesn't let the receiver go past too far and then have to play catch up. Also keeps his eyes on the quarterback so makes a great play on the ball. Love those two if we could get them, Ra and Brown. |
Would certainly take these if available -
(144) WR Seth Williams, Auburn (175) Edge Janarius Robinson, Florida State (181) CB Kary Vincent Jr, LSU (207) WR Josh Imatorbhebhe, Illinois |
Marco Wilson should be there too for CB. A few people have him as a top 5 CB in this class. He is the CB I want.
Seth Williams or Cornell Powell would be good. The a TE in Mckitty, Jordan or Briley Moore. Think Moore will end up being a Chiefs as they seem to trust the local guys atm. But really just keep on picking the highest up your draft board. They have enough cap left to pick up a decent guy at any of the positions left and people will come available in the next week or so. |

144. Hamilcar Rashed Jr. EDGE Oregon State 175. Quintin Morris TE Bowling Green 181. Josh Imatorbhebhe WR Illinois 207. Chris Evans RB Michigan |
Give me Seth Williams or Terry at WR.
|
Powell would be a great WR pickup too

Give me Brevin Jordan and I am a happy man.

Brevin Jordan would be a good pair with Kelce
The wr from Oklahoma state is a nice fit |
Cox LB,
Weaver EDGE, Wallace WR, Darden WR, Brevin Jordan TE, Smith-Marsette WR, Johnson WR, Fehoko WR, Wiggins DB, Bledsoe DB |
Quote:
Honestly, with the Jags picking first and still having a huge hole at TE, I don’t even think Jordan is on the board very long today. |
Kawaan Baker is an interesting WR prospect from South Alabama. He's 6'1", ran a 4.43, 39.5 inch vertical, huge hands.

I personally would like to see somewhere in there to take a shot at a bigger receiver.
My personal favorites would Imatorbhebhe and Fehoko. I just really think that's a physical skillset that we don't really utilize to this point in this offense. |
Quote:
I woulda thought that about the first two picks as well |

Brevin Jordan is very intriguing to me. Some NFLN guys were comparing him to Jordan Reed. Having 2 TEs on the field would be a new wrinkle we really haven't had with Mahomes. And he's a no-brainer steal value wise, just comes down to medicals like a lot of these dudes.
Other than that, whatever really. DE, WR would be nice, but BPA all the way outside of QB, maybe RB in the 4th at least. |
Seth Williams would be fun. Can make plays now with his big body and if he gains consistency he could be a #1 WR.
|
Quote:
|
We do need a big bodied WR that can actually run routes. Any good ones left?
|
Quote:
|
We don’t need a huge WR. Watkins wasn’t huge. He was 6’1”. Go get someone like Amon Ra St Brown and he’ll be good.
|
They need Wrs that can get open
Size doesn’t matter |
I’d really like to get that ND DE today
|

If Veach can get a WR, DE, CB, and one TE or S from the groups in the OP, A+ draft for me easily.

But when you consider that Hill and Kelce demand double-teams, you're talking about a spot that will see almost exclusively single coverage. A big, tall receiver that wins high-pointing the ball would be money in the bank against smaller defensive backs. I love Amon-Ra, and I like Wallace, and I like Powell, Seth Williams, Austin Watkins... but a Fehoko or Imatorbhebhe would really interesting. |
Somehow get me Tylan Wallace, Daelin Hayes and Shaun Wade? Top 3 offseason.
|

Keep going bpa and it’ll be a nice solid draft. Wish we had a 3rd tho for a wr |

Get someone that gets separation |
If we don’t take a WR in the draft watch for the name Jody Fortson
|
I like the idea of Seth because Mahomes just really does well with Kelce.
If we added another big body that could just turn and move the chains it just makes thing even more unfair. I like the upside play as well. Chance to hit a home run at an important position. I'm normally a get separation guy but Seth just is a beast when the ball is in the air. |
And again...I wouldn’t be shocked if they’d didn’t take a WR at all either. Veach does his own thing.

Andy adds new wrinkles all the time. Maybe that's one he'd like to add this year. Not saying we HAVE TO, just saying we COULD. And a guy like that would feast with Mahomes' accuracy. And Imatorbhebhe or Fehoko aren't big slogging guys either, they have top end speed. They're not going to have the short area quickness that smaller guys would, but these aren't glorified TE's. I'm just saying that it's an interesting option. |

Quote:
I agree with this. Don't get a big WR just because but don't tell me Mahomes would not work with a Michael Thomas WR because it is not our style. Get talented players. |

Adetokunbo Ogundeji, EDGE, Notre Dame
6’4” 269 lbs 35.5 inch arms and 84 wing span. Holy shit! 4.71 40 7.19 3 cone Got progressively better every year. 1.5 sacks year 1, then 3 year 2 and then 6 in his final year. This is my number 1 target today. He screams Spags. And he’s got way more bend than Kpassagnon ever had |
Quote:
|
Wait Dylan Moses still available...
|
Quote:
Back shoulder throws down the sideline that are 1 on 1 because Hill and Kelce are doubled? Back of the endzone crossing patterns in the red zone? |
Quote:
Who is begging for a "high-point" WR? |
Quote:
|
Anyway, lots of interesting options today. Should be fun.
|
Quote:
A tall receiver is always an option to just throw it high and let them go get it. If that's all they are, then that's not enough to invest much in them. |
God how can anyone not want this guy? (On phone and can’t embed)
https://youtu.be/VuJ4PZ-j9H0 Jesus his hand usage, quickness, long arms and bend are remarkable for a guy this big. He’s really like Romeo Okwara, who we all wanted in March. Actually he might be better. I know I’ve got tunnel vision but man I’m gonna be so pissed when this guy isn’t on our team |
Quote:
My type is normally speed+top route running to create separation. And I like Seth and Terry this year as guys that can play. |
