Blame Pro Football Reference. I jumped Patrick over Trent for obvious reasons but it's a lot harder for me to justify jumping Lenny considering the differences in era.

But the problem is: any team anybody else builds that’s got Mahomes on it will be equal to yours. The rest of the slots don’t move the needle much.

I stand by my logic. The 2004-present offensive game is hypercharged by all the defensive nerfing done thanks to Peyton's bitching. Dawson might have been a journeyman turned offensive star late in his career but I think the differences in rules means that the PFR's ranking is justified to keep him above Mahomes.. who, lest we forget, has yet to start as QB for a fifth season.

I can understand Okoye over LJ considering the guys between them according to PFR's ranking is Curtis McClintock, Mike Garrett, Kimble Anders and Marcus Allen wherein the only guy you think about putting over LJ is the last in the list.

Okoye would genuinely be SICK behind that 03 line, 95 as well for that matter... they'd give him so much room to build up a head of steam with that he'd likely kill some hapless defender

He was good for his era.

He wasn't a better running back than Okoye.

You need to be a freak like Bobby Bell if you're going to be from that era and draw comparisons to modern day athletes.

Mahomes is clearly above Dawson. Running back is expendable. Larry Johnson was more than good enough. Especially running behind that 1995 OL. We don't need the 2003 OL. 1995 is more than enough. Tyreek at #3 is a steal. That leaves Kelce at #4.

Mahomes and Tyreek take all the pressure off LJ. He will be a turbo-charged death machine playing with them.

Why the hell wouldn't Mahomes and Charles be the 5 dollar options.

I'm not convinced that I like them more than the 2019 line, but I ended up with an extra dollar.


My second choice would be to go with the lower cost 2019 line, Hayes at TE, and put Carson in for Burford. That would then let me add Jamaal at RB. But I think the group I've got is stronger.
