I may tease the line to get the Bills to -10 or -13 and a nice payday.

How about you? Who do you have your money on?

I’m thinking WFT too. Could be an upset.

I like WTF to cover the 8 points. Brady is so terrified of the rush, he's going to have another really bad day as a passer in this one, as long as Alex can play slightly above average for him. Can't turn the ball over like he did last week, and just keep moving the chains. Let his DL beat the snot out of Brady.

If they can do that, WTF can keep it close and maybe eke out a W. But it's more likely that TB's DL creates enough pressure to make Alex mostly ineffective, but covering 8 points should be well within reach.

Actually, it was 122 passing yards. Like 5 yds/att. Only QB Spags stoned worse this season I think was Lamar, who he held to around 97 yards passing. Spags is kind of a genius at screwing running QBs. Or basically QBs that lack schematic/situational discipline. Forget where your hot route is, or if your receiver doesn't read the blitz, and Spags will take your QB to the woodshed.

If Chiefs make it to the AFCCCG, that won’t happen again. Allen is putting up 350+.

Spags did it to Tom Brady, the GOAT twice (once in a SB? Maybe it was twice), well four times if you count last season and this season, and I doubt Allen is mentally on the same level as Brady, so I won't be surprised if Spags does. Actually I'll be surprised if Spags doesn't turn Allen into a goofball if they meet again in the playoffs. It's what he does.

Tom Brady sucks without a great defense, o-line, running game and receivers. I just learned that.

:)Check it out for yourself. You say you study statistics, it shouldn't be difficult to just look it up. Every time Spags has faced Brady, he's made him look very average or below average.

I live in Western NY. I'm telling you, every Bills fan is like THIS guy. Not exaggerating either. I hope the Bills players act like their fans and look past the colts, and possibly the next team they play. That's if they beat the colts. They all act like they are owed something because the bills have been awful for so long, it's unreal. I've never seen a fanbase that has had a terrible team for years, think they are going to the Superbowl EVERY year. They need to be humble, but that's not gonna happen, they've been humbled for over 20 years, so nothing will change. I can go on, but will end it there.

I don’t think that’s fair.

Chiefs fans literally think Mahomes is the GOAT after 2 years.

All fan bases have their ridiculous element.

I like the Colts to cover but lose

I like WFT to cover and the under. Probably wishful thinking. Most likely outcome is a 31-13 type ass kicking

Definitely playing Indy at -7.

Also waiting on injury report for Chicago against NO. Bears D terrible matchup for Brees.

Mistyped. Obviously Buffalo is favored.

If the line is 7 that just looks too rich. Line probably should be Buffalo by 3 to 4.

Lamar Jackson says No. 1 goal this week is to erase the narrative around his playoff history: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...yoff-narrative

To me, this is a bad sign. This means it is heavily in his mind if he can’t even gloss over it in a presser, and he hasn’t struck me as a guy who deals with mental pressure well at all thus far. Tennessee on the other hand has consistently been a tough out in the playoffs.

Wha? I mean, I'll be rooting for Colts, but I don't really care that much. I'd say just last year I was rooting for the Patriots to lose in Week 17, and the Ravens to lose in the Divisional round much more that I can imagine ever caring about this game.

He’s 0-3 against us and now he’s looking at going 0-3 against Tennessee. He was already pissed about being compared to Mahomes, so you know it’s probably getting in his head that he’s about to owned by Tannehill.

Buffalo is going to win that game by double digits.

Only thing that worries me a little is that Diggs & Beasley are a little hurt (haven't practiced this week), but Allen doesn't even need them to wipe the Colts off the field.

Possibly... I mean, the question was a very specific one regarding "erasing the narrative" and Lamar basically echoed that at the end of his response.

Had the question been something like "what are you focusing on going into the playoffs" and Lamar was the first to say "erase the narrative", I'd agree that wouldn't be a good sign.

I don't have high hopes for the quality of football this weekend (or Lamar Jackson being great), but seeing if these young and unproven QBs can deliver is one of the main reasons I'll be watching.

My perspective is all about the matchup itself. You can keep shitting on the Colts if you want, but they are an 11-5 playoff team that was very close to winning their division just this past Sunday.

They have a better offensive and defensive line than the Bills have going against them. It’s the same reason I don’t love the Colts matchup for Kansas City. They present some problems that not all teams do in the AFC.

They will play almost exclusively zone coverage as cover 2 is their bread and butter schematically, which as the stats suggest, is not in Buffalo’s best interests.

Sure, maybe Rivers pulls a Rivers and screws it up. But has Josh Allen earned the benefit of the doubt to say he won’t either? Not after last year at Houston. I need to see more.

How did this happen?

In that case, Patriot fans must be clairvoyant.

It's called perspective. Having been through multiple periods of first round playoff losses and then having success, it sheds light on the little things that have happened and why we lost some of those games in the past.

The benefit of hindsight - something you don't have because your team doesn't have any recent playoff experience to speak of and something Colts fans lack because they're in the midst of one of those periods of playoff disappointment.

I mean, you could just have no self awareness of how your posts will be received and how they will hijack threads, except you've used the friendlier term "tease" when you're blatantly trying to get under people's skin.

The volume of posts alone is trollish.

The rest of it is just further evidence.

He makes it hard to root for the Bills. I really do want the Bills to win this weekend & the Browns to win along with the Ravens.

I want the AFC divisional round to be...

Browns @ Chiefs
Ravens @ Bills

The NFC to be...

Buccaneers @ Packers
Seahawks @ Saints

Those would all be great games.

He thinks Josh Allen will put 350+ on the Chiefs but gets mad when you say anything about the Chiefs winning because he didn't say that.

He's on a Chiefs message board "worrying" about the Chiefs losing to the Ravens, a team the Chiefs have beaten 3 times in a row and twice in a convincing fashion, because he wants to face them in the AFCCG (which of course assumes that Buffalo wins both games to get there, ZERO discussion about that other than beating Indy by "two scores".)

The guy thinks he's clever and in reality, he's just like every other passive aggressive Ravens/Titans/Steelers/Patriot fan that came over here just to "talk football" only to disappear about the same time their team exits the playoffs.

To me, this is a bad sign. This means it is heavily in his mind if he can’t even gloss over it in a presser, and he hasn’t struck me as a guy who deals with mental pressure well at all thus far. Tennessee on the other hand has consistently been a tough out in the playoffs.

I’m worried that playoff chokers like Lamarvelous & Josh Allen can’t win any playoff games. I’m interested to see if Baker is a big game player.

I usually bet QB’s in the playoffs.

Saturday:

Rivers vs Allen = favors Rivers
Goff vs Wilson = favors Wilson
Brady vs Smith = favors Brady

Sunday:

Jackson vs Tannehill = favors Tannehill
Trubisky vs Brees = favors Brees
Mayfield vs Rapelisberger = favors Rapelisberger

Baker can prove himself vs a washed up Rapelisberger though since he has no playoff experience.

The benefit of hindsight - something you don't have because your team doesn't have any recent playoff experience to speak of and something Colts fans lack because they're in the midst of one of those periods of playoff disappointment.

We have been to 3 of the last 4 playoffs. That’s not recent enough? And you do realize that the Bills existence isn’t 20 years old, right?

We watched the Bills when they were good too.

We have the same perspective, as does odds-makers who do this for a living.

Those odds makers see the Bills as 7 point favorites too.

As I said, if 1 Super Bowl gives you perspective, then Pats fans are all-knowing (they think the Bills will beat the Chiefs).

Rivers isn’t even close to the QB that Allen is at this point.

Allen is 2nd in MVP voting odds right now.

Rivers isn’t even on the list.

I had no idea Tyreek is such a sore subject here.

Obviously a sensitive subject for you all.
