Chili cheese tots and cherry limeade about a month ago. I felt guilty after and had to go fishing to work it off.

Double cheese, onion rings, ice tea. I have them skip the condiments so the burger won't be so sloppy. Rings are usually good. No complaints.

I rarely go there, but when I do it's a bacon cheeseburger toaster and a side of tots.

Super Sonic cheeseburger, split an order of rings with oldwoman, order of cheddar peppers, and a cheery limeade. Tasty.

I used to eat at Sonic a lot then I turned 22. That was 26 years ago. I have eaten there since but not idea when the last time was. Also no idea what my last Sonic meal was, thankfully.

I mostly go there for the drinks, but the food is serviceable.

That new garlic mushroom burger they had for a while was ok too. Nothing amazing, but ok.

I usually just get their corn dogs.

We recently took a road trip and followed our normal routine. Head out early in the morning and order a double bacon cheeseburger with tots and a large drink... then we each eat half.

I find that the quality of the burger early in the morning far exceeds the ones during the afternoon/evening mealtimes.

Corn Dogs are pretty good at Sonic. I like their cheddar bites and chili cheese tots as well.

A couple of years ago I went to a sonic in Quanah, TX. Ordered the shit to go. They brought it out took to the wrong vehicle they dug threw it decided it wasn’t theirs, the shit proceeded to go to two more vehicles to be dug thru and taste tested. Fourth time is the charm got to me. I took the shit even though it had been violated by several vehicles. Needless to say the order was all ****ed up, cold, been dug through by multiple vehicles. I figure after the nuclear holocaust it will be me, cockroaches, rats and the parents and kids of multiple families the state stepped in and took the kids away because of unsanitary living environments. And for the record we have been foster parents numerous times. Hope to never be again. For the record. But, of course we will. Once you get into that vortex it is hard to dig your way up and out of that.

It was the second to last time I went there that the problem. I made the mistake of ordering a burger and taking it home instead of eating it there. Their burgers are greasy as hell, and if you don't eat them immediately the grease starts to congeal. It was gross.

And after that, even when I ate the next burger immediately I was aware of it, sort of like a noise your car makes that you've grown accustomed to until somebody else points it out, then you can't stop hearing it.

That was the last time I ate at Sonic, and it was a long time ago. Not saying I'll never go back, but I'll damn sure never eat another one of their nasty ass burgers.

Would had to have been on buy1get1 burger night, as that's the only way I can get duped into ordering food there. I am, however, a sucker for the cherry limeade and will often stop in for happy hour drink specials on my way to work.

Have you ever been to an A&W drive-in? It's pretty similar in that the drinks are much better than the greasy food that will have you totally shitting yourself.

I have never cared for Sonics burgers or fries. Believe it or not Burger King has the best fries.

But they’re on the complete opposite side of town, and beyond that burrito nothing else they have is good enough to make me wanna drive over there

Sonic has been sliding down hill the last couple of years. I think my last meal was a Jr. Double Cheeseburger with a side of chili cheese tots. It was a C-/D+ experience. That was months ago.

Their food is nasty. I can understand going for a drink but if you’re going there for food you need to examine your life choices.

Whew. Sonic. Maybe if I’m driving across the country nonstop for a funeral or something like that.

Maybe 4 months ago single cheeseburger tots and a DrP. A little over an hour later I started sweating and stomach churning. I took a alka seltzer to no avail and it was on to the porcelain throne and gator calling. Next up was a water ass till the Ammonium AD kicked in. The tomatoes were unusually mushy and the tots tasted like old oil haven't been back since.

Like many others have posted, my last experience wasn't a positive one. Tots tasted like they were cooked in really old oil, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles were all limp and mushy. Whatever they call 'cheese' is something unlike what I call cheese. That was probably in 2018 and I don't believe I will go in 2020. Fast food in general is way too much fat and salt. I can't even imagine where any of these places get their ingredients. Used to like the cherry limeade however the last one didn't have a cherry in it and was like drinking a cup of sugar in water where they waved a couple of lime slices over it.

My mom and I. She got a pretzel and I got cheddar bites and a regular chili cheese tot. Very pleasant experience.

I got a Supersonic breakfast burrito and it was decidedly meh. Wrapped sloppily and the jalapenos were the best part of it. As far as breakfast burritos go, Burger King has the deal on those. It's got a southwest sauce and hashbrown patty in the wrap and it's only like $1.79. I'd rather eat those than anything Sonic or McDonalds has to offer.

I will go to Sonic again sometime soon. It's the closest fast food to my house and the drinks are always worth it.

They should do a Sonic commercial with the two guys in the crapper both with the Hershey squirts...

Give or take a few years and my experience is exactly this.

About 10 years ago. I loved them when I lived in KS, so I was really excited when one popped up here. The Mrs had never been so after telling her how good it was (o-rings in particular), we headed out. We each ordered a burger and rings. In short, it was terrible. That location lasted about a year before they had to close the doors.

I don’t remember what I had to eat but I do recall taking a huge Deberg about three hours later.

I’ve honestly never had it.

All I ever get there is a peach-mango water or, if I want the calories, their frozen cherry limeades are amazing. I don't hardly ever eat their food.

I grew up right by the Sonic on 35th and Noland. Have been eating Sonic my whole life, it's not my favorite but I don't think it's bad at all.
