2nd time under Reid we don't make the playoffs?
I got us 8-8 or 9-7 at best right now and losing the division to Oakland. Namely due to schedule.
We have 3 division games left at home so if we win those we go 9-7. Probably not going to get it done. Chargers in Mexico? 50-50 Chicago on the road? Doubtful NE on the road? Doubtful Even if we ball out the rest of the season we are 10-6. That may get the division but the Raiders have a very, very soft schedule. Seriously, they may have 1 more loss on their schedule and that is us. Games like today (Titans) are what kill your season. 99% chance to win with under 2 mins left and you lose. Things had to line up almost miraculously for that to happen yet they did. Injuries are a problem Turnovers are a bigger problem Coaching right now is a huge problem Hard to imagine having Mahomes as a QB and not making the playoffs but that is where things are headed right now. |
They will get hot and close out the end of the season.
They will then proceed to shit themselves in the playoffs. You know how this script goes. |
You're overreacting after a bad loss.
Sit the next couple plays out, chief. |
So we are not even a playoff team anymore? Come on guys.
|
well, at least the playoffs are a lock now
|
Honestly I’d be fine with it. Would rather us make the playoffs but anything that would
maybe kinda sorta head in the direction of a new HC, I’m for. |
No.
|
Oh I'm sure we'll get in and probably lose in equally mind boggling circumstances...then Andy will say it's on me and we have to fix this.
Everyone in here say wait until next season... Rinse, wash, repeat. |
This is stupid.
Ok, they laid an egg today. And they may not go anywhere in January. But if there’s one thing I KNOW about Andy Reid teams, it’s that they’re going to play big against divisional opponents. We have 4 of those games left. They’ll win 10-11 and the West. From there, idk. |

We lose 1 more game we won’t make it. Steelers are getting hot

One and done. But...I'm a realist. The Raiders may only have 1 or 2 losses left with their schedule. We definitely aren't beating NE, and we will probably get beat by the Chargers once and the Bears - both of those teams remind me of the Colts and Tits. |

Eh, never mind. New England vs Houston isn't getting flexed out of SNF. |

Good Lord

So the Raiders are now immune to laying an egg? They gonna lose 1 or 2 more games they shouldn’t.

I thought I was ragging.
Some are launching tampons into orbit. |

Oakland is not that good. They beat a mediocre Chargers team, barely, on national TV and so they’re being hyped a little. But I wouldn’t buy in too much... |

Cinci @ Jets @KC Titans Jags @ Chargers @ Broncos That's about as soft as it gets |

This forum lives and dies by every game. Last week everyone was pumped and thought we had a chance to run the table with Mahomes returning. Now some people think we might not even make the playoffs. Or maybe win a game ever again. ROFL

Oakland will win this division
|
We’re going to make the playoffs.
If for some crazy reason we don’t, then you need to seriously look at moving on from Andy. That would be completely inexcusable. |

KC has to have the dumbest fans in the nfl by a longshot.
|
We sucked ass when we had Sutton but at least we could close. Spags we can’t do any of that
|
We'll make the playoffs, even if it's as a 6 seed, we'll make the playoffs.
Are you really saying it's doubtful that we don't beat Chicago? ****ing Chicago? Shitty Trubisky? Gimme a break, that's as far of a sky is falling overreaction that I've ever heard. |

New DC is another excuse Reid won't go anywhere |

The MVP, hand picked D coordinator, players you wanted, etc. |

Steelers will make the playoffs. You see their schedule? Soft as shit. Hardest team they play is the Bills. Ravens week 17.

Literally didn’t close out every loss last year defensively. |

Nothing is off limits. |

Clark Jones etc, etc.....string of injuries and all that |
We should be 500 right now if it wasn’t for a miracle in Detroit. Could’ve easily if lost vs the Ravens too. This team isn’t that good

Only one that we really have missed out of those guys has been Fisher. |
This is a wild overreaction. Maybe they don't make the playoffs but it would be a pretty bad finish if they did.
Even if Oakland somehow passed us for the division, the Colts, Steelers and Titans are all up and down with backup QBs and the Bills have been really inconsistent and have a tough finishing schedule. Otherwise you're banking on someone like the Chargers or Browns to win out. The middle of the AFC isn't exactly a parade of juggernauts. |
It’s not so far-fetched that this team doesn’t make the playoffs. If the Chiefs don’t win the AFCW they’re in trouble.

9-7 will likely win the division.
So the 9-7 Chiefs will get in. |
Titans have a rough schedule so they won’t make it. It could be us fighting Pitt for a wild
Card spot if Oakland somehow wins the division |

My God, did you think before you typed the above? |
Jones made the play of the day when he bench pressed the center 15 yards into Tan's face.
This game was set and done. Sigh |
The Sky is falling!!

Hahaha, you guys are really very funny. The Chiefs aren't going to go 9-7. We're going to go at least 10-6. Unless we lose another offensive lineman for the year, we're going into the soft part of our schedule, with the lone except of the Patriots.
|
The Raiders suck.

Finish 4-2 or maybe 5-1. Do our normal playoff choke. |
The Chiefs are going to make the playoffs.

Once they got the stop on the long 4th down pkay it should have been over. Hell I wouldn’t have even ****ed with the fg. 4 and 3 to end the game? |

Everything is in play for this team... |
KC is 6-4.
Calm down. Speaking of 6-4, I hated the match up of KC's little linebackers and safeties against Henry. I thought this might happen. They were scared to tackle him. |
