Best Car Loan rates online

I'm looking to purchase a used certified Acura MDX and I'm trying to find the best auto loan rate I can online. Has anyone had any success stories with lenders for this? I've talked to my credit union but their rates have gone up recently.

Thanks for any help.

All rates have gone up recently. The best rates you are likely to see right now are mid 3s for short term loans. Talk to your CU, AND let the dealer try and beat the rate they give you.

voila.

The best I found recently was 3.25 at Meritrust CU. Plus a quarter percent off if you direct pay. That was for 2006 or newer and under 125k miles.

Just get one of those payday loans. I hear the interest on those is pretty fan****ingtastic

I had ally a couple years ago.

Yep. The best rate I was able to nab was from the dealership.

Anywhere but Wells Fargo. LOL

Acura. They have 1.99 for 60 months and 2.99 for 72 months on certified MDXs.

That sucks but I would probably just stick with the loan from your Credit Union.

Also, Acuras are amazing cars... I'll probably be sticking with Acura for life.

One thing about my Acura that I don't miss was the premium gas.

Buying the cheap shit rules.

I haven't put premium in my Acura in 7 years and it runs great.

It uses mostly Honda parts....

Premium gas is a scam in most cases.

You're taking a hit on your mileage, so you pay one way or another.

I think in the last 5-10 years, they stopped needing premium gas.

Go back to the dealer and have them check those rates. Usually a certified vehicle qualifies for a lower rate unless your credit sucks.

I'm going to contact the dealer again tomorrow. Credit score is 789 so it's definitely not my credit.

I use Signature FCU. They used to be NAPUS FCU and were only available for Postmasters and their families but opened it up a couple years ago. I've had them for over 20 years. My last loan through them was 1.9%, current rate is 2.9%. They have decent online tools, an app for your phone, etc. Getting a loan through them for a vehicle has always been a piece of cake for me. Good luck.

fyi - they do have bankers hours as far as when you can call them but the online stuff is always available.

Ummmm. Because it’s a Honda?

Watch their models and note the Hondas 3 years later.

Ah, well that's sweet. I had an '06 TL and I always grumbled when I was paying 30-50 cents more per gallon.
