Wow all three of those Redskins players -- Crowder, Reed & Swearinger -- are legit game-changers if they miss.

Hopefully Fisher can man up. Hopefully Ford is back in action soon.

I wouldn't want to shuffle the OL around and all that... just put Erving in at LT and roll. If he sucks, he sucks. I'm not f**king with Schwartz or Witzmann or any of that. The edge rushers are better coming off the right side these days anyway.

I also doubt they let KPass play all that much, though I'd love if he did. Probably a lot of Zombo...

Well being listed as questionable is certainly better than doubtful. Good thing we have an extra day for him to rest.

It pisses me off that they didn't use KPass in obvious passing situations. I get that he's not ready to drop into coverage but come on. Rush him on some plays. No way is Zombo a better pass rusher.

This Fisher thing worries me. If it's a short-term thing I'd lean toward holding him out to let him heal up, rather than take the risk of losing him longer.

Erving is officially the backup left tackle. Leave everyone else as is, and run a lot of three-TE sets this game. Those are unstoppable, and it'll confuse future opponents.

Ehringer is not on the injury report. He will be available Monday. Will he start? I doubt it

Have you seen Erving play LT? You might as well put DAT in that spot. The guy can't get out of the way of his own shitty feet much less stop a pass rusher.

If he sucks at LT, he probably sucks just as bad at RT... it doesn't really make a difference. If you move Schwartz to LT you run the risk of making him play worse via unfamiliarity, which means a double negative at LT/RT.

I was hoping the Chiefs were training him to be a swing G/C to replace Fulton after this season and not have anything to do with playing the edge. He sucks ass on the edge.

Redskin fans are most concerned with Foster being out. He's their DJ of the defense...gets everyone lined up. With all the misdirection and motion KC runs...this could be a pretty big loss.

It's not confusing his name with other common spellings like when we had Ryan Sims and people would spell it Ryan Simms. And it's not even improperly confusing his name with another more common last name, like when people kept thinking our backup QB a few years ago was Chase Daniels.

Parker Ehinger's name is pronounced "Anger". Yeah, that's convoluted, and if I weren't told that, I'd probably pronounce it "Eh-hin-jerr" like a lot of people seem to want to do. But I was told what his name is. So now I know.

You're taking his name and turning it into Ehringer. Did you know an Ehringer or something? I've never once seen that last name come up. Does it exist? Potentially, sure. Do you know any Ehringers? Probably ****ing not. Do you know of an Ehinger? Yes, he was a draft pick who started a few games at OG for your favorite football team.

That's essentially the middle of the field....Both ILBs (Foster and Compton) and their best safety..

Kelce could have a big game...

Unless he is still in the doghouse or if Fisher is out he will need to help block all game.

KC is in better shape than the Redskins....both of their defensive signal callers might not play. Reid is hard enough to defend without problems of communicating and getting the defense in proper alignment.

Hunt and Kelce are going to have a good game if they dont play.

Not sure if this was posted somewhere but listening to NFL Radio earlier and someone asked Geoff Schwartz to ask his brother what was going on with eric Fisher. He said he already knew what they were planning and couldn't say on the air because it wasn't known but then added that Erving would be LT if Fisher was out. Reading between the lines it sounded like Fisher will be out.

The Redskins DC is Greg Manusky. Last time Reid played Manusky was when Chiefs scored 44 vs the Colts

If we seriously start Witzmann at LT there is going to be a shitload of TEs on the field.

That's probably true no matter who you put at LT.

Our options:

Witzmann (who you don't want to move from LG)
Erving (who has been on this team less than a month -- and sucks)
Devey (sucks)
Schwartz (who do you put at RT against Kerrigan?)

I think Devey or Erving make the most sense at LT, but I think moving Witzmann and playing Ehinger keeps the team true to the "play your best 5" OL truism.

This team crawls through injuries all the time and still wins.

Any team but the Pats would collapse with what the Chiefs have gone through in the last 3 seasons.

I'm gonna assume you don't really need an answer to that question.

And don't give me "you don't like him cause he loves Smith ". Sandy supports with and I am fine with sandy. The list of what is wrong with Tigger, including his trolling, is endless.

That would suck. But maybe Erving will play at a serviceable level. I mean, he can't be any worse than having Jah Reid, Jordan Black, or Donald Stephenson can he? Andy will adjust the scheme to help cover that side too I'm sure. I expect to see lots of short, quick passes and a tight end staying in to help block.

Hope they all have a good game against Warshington.

Did you see how the Skins played against a good Raiders offensive line last week or how our left tackles not named Fisher played this pre season? We easily could lose this one.

Let's ask Derek Carr how good that Raiders O-line is.

That line had allowed the fewest pressures the first 3 games. You don't know what you're talking about.

Redskins applied plenty of pressure, so the line held up great against the hapless Jets and Titans.
