Man, alt-comics are losing all their impressions.

PFT lost Garry Marshall and Alan Thicke in a mere month.

Red Dawg 12-13-2016 08:18 PM

Don't care.

Buck 12-13-2016 08:18 PM

The article says he was taken to hospital at 11:30 am (7 hours ago), but somehow he tweeted 4 hours ago.

I'm guessing that was a publicist gaffe [a big one]. This isn't one of those nbc.com.fake spam stories, all the big houses are reporting it.

And a heart attack don't play around.

Or....hear me out here....he came back from the dead to post that.

Bummer. I ran into him at a medical building recently but I'm certain it was unrelated.

I never got into any of the 'family' sitcoms.
I missed the start of them growing up, then when we got a TV I caught Family Ties in reruns and Cosby in first run.

After that, all those Growing Pains, Family Matters, Full House, Prince Prince stuff just didn't measure up, or just wasn't geared to my age range.

Caught a few episodes of GP, but not enough to remember anything outside the castmembers and the living room set. No plotlines or memorable lines.

Nothing against it, just not something I paid attention to. Kind of like today's reality TV [Bachelor, Kardashians, Housewives, Got Talent, Idol, etc].

You missed the start of family sitcoms...in the early 1950s? And this is relevant?

Note to self: don't try and compete with son doing wind sprints down the ice during a pickup hockey game at 69 years old. This happens all the time up here

MahiMike 12-13-2016 09:08 PM

So you're saying Suzanne is available?

PunkinDrublic 12-13-2016 09:28 PM

God and Alan Thicke are now bonding over their mutual hatred of Kirk Cameron.

Rausch 12-13-2016 09:37 PM

He'll always have a fond spot in my heart.

I agreed to some rip-off time share nonsense for 4 days and 3 nights in a Vegas hotel as long as I listened to his company's 4 hour song and dance.

Me and the wife got married, drunk, and then they were happy to send us back to the strip after 2 hours...

Family Ties is still one of my faves and still holds up IMO. Great show.

Yeah I think the the news mentioned old one. I don't recall old from news I just very seldom watched the show unless for background noise.
