I've always kind of given Sandy shit about saying this, but he may be right... After reading that statement, I seriously wouldn't be surprised at all if Alex Smith retires...like, any time.

Haven't felt this way in quite some time. Already called my wife to cancel our anniversary plans we had made this Sunday.

He will be even quicker to check down once he returns. This could really mess with his thought process. Our receivers will never have a chance of having a ball thrown their way.

I'm good with this. It will be good to see what Foles can do with this offense against a much better defense. I'm hoping he does well. If he repeats the type of performance he had against the Colts then it should definitely be a QB controversy.

As far as Foles goes, all he really has to do is not turn the ball over. If he doesn't throw boneheaded INTS then he'll be as productive as Alex Smith at the very least.
