The Office. I watch an episode or two of The Office just about every weeknight before I go to sleep. When I am done with the entire series? I start again from season 1, episode 1. I am on season 8 of my third go-round right now.

Both of your addictions are cool. Never took up golf. Though, I think it is very fun to play for as bad as I am (said every person who casually plays one or two rounds of golf per year). I am sure I will give it a serious shot eventually.

Nope. I actually had a Pibb earlier this week because the Dr. wasn't available. Didn't finish it.

And unless something has changed, they're not owned by Coke. They have been distributed by Coke or Pepsi, whichever one is closest, I think.

Watched an episode of "American Pickers" last night where they went to the original Dr. Pepper plant. Amazing stuff, had no idea they were ahead of Coke and Pepsi.

For me, it was the aftermath of being handed script after script after script for hydrocodone and klonipin, (one for a back injury, and one for awful panic attacks) and then being told they were fine to take together. Euphoria like you couldn't imagine. I'm damn lucky I'm not dead knowing what I know now. I just thank the Lord I never graduated beyond hydro and the occasional oxycodone.

Some days I still miss it, but I've come a long way to being drug free. I'm not willing to jeopardize that.

Benzo withdrawl was the ****ing worst thing I've ever been through, btw. Even coming off a 1mg daily klonipin dose was hell. I don't know how people who take large doses of benzos ever quit.

I actually do this as well, but I generally start on episode 1 of season 2. From there, the only episode I skip is "Mike's Tots" or whatever it's called. The one where Michael promises to send a bunch of elementary school kids to college and can't follow through. That episode sucks.

Opiate, no. Adderall, somewhat. This past spring semester. I was struggling in calculus big time and needed to get a C in the class in order for my credit to transfer to KU, where it was then a pre-req for a couple classes I was already enrolled in for next fall.

So in April, after I figured out what I needed to do to get a C in the course from my professor, I bought some addy off my friend to pull one all-nighter and catch up on caluclus. Adderall probably isn't the worst thing in the world, but I was addicted to something that I didn't need to be taking. The shit I could pull-off academically while wired on it was amazing. But one all-nighter turned into 9 or 10 in the month of April + finals week in May.

Can anyone guess which test I spent 48 hours wired on adderall preparing for? I didn't sleep, when one addy started to wear off.. I just took another one.

I got a C in the class.
At the end of the year, I was definitely becoming dependent on that stuff. Haven't taken any since, however, mainly because summer came and I have no use for it. It's all over college campuses. Very easy to get.

I love the show but don't like any story line involving Michael Scott and girlfriends.
