saphojunkie 05-06-2014 12:42 PM

It is probably the most realistic scenario too, with the way they are holding it...

Reality check....we HAVE to trade back.

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:50 PM

Adam Teicher

49ers offering 56 and 61. Won't give up 30. Not gonna do it

The Franchise 05-06-2014 12:50 PM

Adam Teicher

49ers offering 56 and 61. Won't give up 30. Not gonna do it

The Franchise 05-06-2014 12:51 PM

22. Philadelphia Eagles: Marqise Lee, WR, USC.

Chiefs on the clock

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:51 PM

B. JR, Cooks, Lee alll off the board.

Our pick now...

Mr. Arrowhead 05-06-2014 12:51 PM

he should just take bridgewater

The Franchise 05-06-2014 12:51 PM

****ing moron....I'd trade back that far in a heartbeat.

Adam Teicher

minnesota called offering package of picks. But 40 is the best and that's too far to go. Looks like I'm stuck with pick for #Chiefs

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:52 PM

Jimmie Ward is still on the board.

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:53 PM

Adam Teicher

Not gonna trade and will send my pick in soon. Best available and it's not a WR

Discuss Thrower 05-06-2014 12:54 PM

Teicher's not taking WR.

Sua'Filo.

The Franchise 05-06-2014 12:54 PM

He should go Bridgewater, Carr or Ward.

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:55 PM

With the 23rd pick of the 2014 NFL Nation mock draft, Adam Teicher and the Kansas City Chiefs select Ra’Shede Hageman, DL, Minnesota.

The Franchise 05-06-2014 12:55 PM

Hageman.

the Talking Can 05-06-2014 12:55 PM

meh

In58men 05-06-2014 12:55 PM

ROFL

Shitty pick

Mr. Arrowhead 05-06-2014 12:55 PM

oh my

ct 05-06-2014 12:56 PM

way to go teicher u ****in puke

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:56 PM

Yes!

I told him Hageman!

kepp 05-06-2014 12:56 PM

Holy crap! ROFL

ct 05-06-2014 12:56 PM

ward and fuller on the board, and he takes another 5 tech

Mr. Arrowhead 05-06-2014 12:57 PM

Ya because the Chiefs really need another 1st round D Lineman

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:57 PM

Jamison Hensley

My note on Hageman: An athletic freak, Hageman said he can do a windmill dunk and jumped 36 inches when Minnesota officials tested him. In comparison, no defensive tackle at this year's NFL combine jumped higher than 33 inches.

Shitty position to be in, but w/ever.

Yeah....sweet. Maybe he can perform the halftime show for us.

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 12:58 PM

Terry Blount

Hageman is a player the Seahawks liked, but figured he wouldn't get to them.

That'll come in handy when he's dunking the football over the goalpost after catching a TD pass. Wait...

SeeingRed 05-06-2014 01:01 PM

What a dumb choice....i hate that guy Teicher, he sucks balls

Cool he can jump high ROFL. You need to be our college scout.

the Talking Can 05-06-2014 01:03 PM

draft a QB or trade down

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 01:04 PM

Every 5-tech sucks because of LSU.

keg in kc 05-06-2014 01:04 PM

At least Teicher is consistent. You can always count on him to not not disappoint.

Dayze 05-06-2014 01:05 PM

Chiefs will either need to take their pick at 23; trade up, or trade don. / Teicher

The Franchise 05-06-2014 01:05 PM

Are Cooks, Beckham, Lee, Pryor and Clinton-Dix gone? Yep.

Can you trade down? Nope.

Then you take Bridgewater, Carr or Ward at #23. Not another ****ing defensive lineman.

Mr_Tomahawk 05-06-2014 01:05 PM

Adam Teicher‏@adamteicher·2 mins
Knew that pick was going to tick off some fans. Will explain shortly at http://ESPN.com

In58men 05-06-2014 01:05 PM

Teicher: "not trading our pick, not going WR. Taking best available"

Sounds like something we would actually do.

Dayze 05-06-2014 01:06 PM

best available scares me since our scouts suck.

Oh...I bet we're trading Poe.

Jerm 05-06-2014 01:07 PM

At least Teicher keeps with the continuity...moving from the Star to ESPN hasn't curbed his idiocy.

Dayze 05-06-2014 01:08 PM

would be nice to get a play maker with our 1st round pick more than once every 6 years.

the Talking Can 05-06-2014 01:10 PM

this was the trade they made in the mock draft

Quote:

We kicked our ESPN NFL Nation live mock draft with a bang just minutes ago, swinging a deal with ESPN Houston Texans reporter Tania Ganguli for the first overall pick. In return, Tania and the Texans received the Bills' first-round pick (No. 9 overall), second-round pick (No. 41 overall), their 2015 first-round and third-round picks, and 2016 second-round pick.

You can tell you're a broken and abused fan base when you get all pissed off over a live mock draft.

I didn't realize Teicher ACTUALLY has been drafting for the Chiefs. That explains so much.

Adam Teicher‏@adamteicher·8 mins
Yes. Wouldn't have picked him otherwise RT @TheFranchiseQB: @adamteicher do you think he's better than Tyson Jackson?

planetdoc 05-06-2014 01:59 PM

:D great pick.

CaliforniaChief 05-06-2014 02:01 PM

This is good. Just like mock drafts get ready for the real draft, our mock reaction is a good warmup for the disappointment and anger we'll feel when the real one comes.

Cue truefan.gif

And BTW, if not QB/Ward, maybe even Dee Ford?

planetdoc 05-06-2014 02:03 PM

If the chiefs arent trading down, than I like either Hageman/Tuitt, or ASJ.

Big fast reliable playmaking potential #1 WR? Not a reach at all!! I would take Matthews at #23 without a second thought.

My picks in order in that scenerio:

Matthews, Ward, Bridgwater

Just because Matthews doesn't rank as the #1 WR on other peoples boards doesn't mean he shouldn't be on ours!

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 05-06-2014 02:38 PM

I know some like Robinson and Latimer too. The WR options don't end with Cooks, Lee, and Beckham.

Strongside 05-06-2014 02:42 PM

I think we're gearing up for a bigger draft-day meltdown than last year.

not possible

using the #1 pick in the draft on eric fisher....it's the Hiroshima of failure

Dayze 05-06-2014 02:58 PM

this will be more like Chernobyl

Tombstone RJ 05-06-2014 03:01 PM

If I was the Bills' mock owner, I would fire the Bills' mock GM right now. Seriously, what kind of trade is that? That's the kind of trade where everyone else in the league complains to the commissioner that one owner took advantage of a dumb owner.

I would have traded our #1 pick last year for half of that.
