Herm Edwards pretty much did it for me. This season has been fun, sucked me in a bit, but even though the Chiefs were doing good I did miss a few Sunday Ticket games to go biking with my Son. Will drop the Sunday Ticket next year and watch from afar... Will watch some and will post in the game threads but I will never again let a football team affect me mood.

We were giving up scads of points before all the injuries on defense.

I pretty much stopped caring a few years ago. I am already over this loss. Hopefully Reid fires Sutton and they totally revamp this secondary and get some additional pass rushers.

Yep... I've already shrugged off this loss. The KU loss to Michigan was more upsetting, because they never do that kind of shit. Even when the Chiefs were up 38-10, there was a little voice in my head wondering if they would screw it up. There's no point in being emotionally invested in this team, because they haven't delivered anything in twenty years.

Heh. You never know. But I pretty much quit hardcore fantasy sports after 20 years (I still play a no-money, no-pressure office football league) because it wasn't worth the stress it caused me. And I'm serious about quitting the Chiefs.

Maybe if they win a Super Bowl I'll bandwagon them and tell the kiddies that I followed them way back in 1974.

Like you, I figured if any team could blow a 4 TD lead, this one could. I watched the 4th quarter kneeling behind the couch and peeking at the TV from there, or watching from around the corner in the kitchen.

It's just amazing E run of poor luck, or whatevers it is that haunts this team.

The team being good had me interested again, but with posts like that one from claynus, why would anyone want to hang out here really? A couple of trolls dominate all the football discussion. It's painful enough being a chiefs fan.

I came into the game expecting to lose in ridiculous fashion (lose by a FG, miss two during the game) or something like that.

But I started believing in the second quarter. Why did I let myself do that?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I'm sure that it sucks that we're not getting to hear post-game interviews.

I have options, but with options like Dallas, I'm not sure I'm not jumping out of the pan and into the fire.

Hell, I'm not even sure how I could go from the Chiefs to the Cowboys (or any other team for that matter).

The MetroSports talking heads are making a molehill out of a mountain and THAT'S the problem....the people with the air time will be WAY too nice to the franchise. And because of it, we'll get more of the same next year - and owner who flies off to another city, and a fanbase that thinks having a team in the city is all we can expect.
