PFF: Poor game from Fisher
Yup. Very poor game.

Ban 1.1 picks
|
yup hes a bust cuz he sucked in his 2nd preseason game
|
That first game will be great because we won't be able to use the "It's preseason" cop out anymore and we'll get to see who does a better job, Joeckel or Fisher. This won't tell us who the best player is obviously, but it'll be fun to watch regardless.
|
HOW CAN THIS BE1111
|
The dude is a baby, he needs time.
|
I had to disagree with their first point, and didn't read further.
He won the battle on the block before he went out. It was a solid block. |
Baldwin can teach him the ropes

He could still be top 10 all time
When nfl network updates their top 10 worst draft picks ever in a few years |

If they sit him, Stephenson will make it near impossible for them to switch back. then what.
they better win games. |
He'll be fine. Top 5 OL
|
Oh noes! He played against the 49ers not the jags
|
Dear Fisher....don't masturbate so much in the showers at camp and your hand won't be so sore.
|
When he got his butt whipped by a back up LOLB, it definitely made me look at him differently but, it's early.
|
playmaker
|
Season's over.
|
Per Adam Teicher
Donald Stephenson left #Chiefs practice early because of injured shoulder. Was in starting lineup today at RT due to Fisher's absence |

Probably a surprise cut.

Give'm a chance to adjust playing the right side to NFL level speed. That's not automatic you know especially when all you have played is LT and you have a tender hand going against a SB caliber D line. But he definitely needs to live in the weight room for a while I agree.
|
This team is still bedazzled over the local barbecue fare and little things like garlic pickle spears, it's so stupid.
|
We shouldn't have such high expectations for the #1 player in the draft and the best NFL prospect per our infallible GM. Stop expecting him to look decent in preseason people!
That's crazy talk. |
I see it as a good thing that he was injured yet toughed it out.
|
It's a process:
Step 1. Get drafted 1.1 overall because it's an OL heavy draft and it makes perfect sense Step 2. Look overwhelmed and under perform in TC Step 3. Get a nagging injury Step 4. Get your shit pushed in when you face talent Step 5. Get your shit pushed in when you face second stringers Step 6. Let CP'ers say things like "OMG it's not even the regular season why are you worrying about it!!!" |

I enjoy the double standards around here for preseason performances.

Man, it is bad enough that I'm a fan of a team that hasn't drafted a first round QB in 30 years, but to come on a discussion board and have an idiot repeat it over and over and over is maybe worse.
We get it OK? Your boy Geno got passed over for Fisher and Smith and now the are the devil. Grow up and get over it. |
I have a feeling that Fisher will be another cautionary tale of why non-playmakers should never be taken first overall.

The way you are scrutinizing Fisher isn't talking about picks and fumbles. It is the equivalent to scrutinizing Geno because he threw a few feet behind a receiver or forgot to throw the ball away. All this for a guy who is starting his second game, in a shortened preseason, playing a different position, apparently playing a little gimpy. |
guys our RT Anthony Davis wasn't nearly who is is now when he was a rookie. I think fisher can be great in this league within the next three years

That's what I get for trying to rationalize something that is irrational. |
While I agree fisher didn't play well, can we talk about how our franchise tagged LT who wanted a max deal played?
Cause he was just as bad |

so fish is the equivalent of baldwin, but even worse. damn.

Albert is in his 6th season. |
TO THE SHIP!!!!!11!!1

Nothing to worry about with him because I know he will be fine this year. |

Yeah the guy in his 6th season that doesn't understand how to hand off a de and pick up a blitzer.
Yeah he wasn't bad at all, or are we forgetting he was playing backups as well? |
Quote:
Eric Fisher sucks so far. |
If Fisher sucks this bad just imagine if we traded Albert and Fisher had to start at LT
|
Quote:
He also wasn't the most talented player in the entire draft and worth the 1.1 overall like our RT was. Maybe somebody will post the PFF for him and I'm wrong, but I'm not nearly as worried about Albert since he's sort of played well for a quite some time. |
An established veteran who was getting beat by backups. Hooray

Fisher needs to be a 6-10 time Pro-Bowler to justify the pick.
I will let him slide this year, but there will be hell to pay next year if he fails. |
Quote:
I just expected him to hit the ground running and be a stud from Day 1; since our GM deemed him the best NFL prospect of 2013. Maybe it will happen. Patience isn't my strong suit with this organization anymore. |
I think Fisher will be at LT next season.
Albert will likely be gone. |
Over reaction.
Whooooooooooooooooo |
Doubt Albert will be here next year...Fisher moves to where he belongs. However, if Albert plays like he did Friday night even fewer teams will be looking to give him the money he thinks he deserves...there weren't any serious takers this year.

Quote:
Yet, here he is. Maybe he's gone. Maybe he isn't |

But, it is the Chiefs. The organization rarely makes moves that make sense. |

He's not getting any younger. |
EJ Manuel down with knee surgery. Dodged a bullet there
