At least the Raiders get another #1 pick to blow on Jamarcus #2

Bewbies 08-14-2013 05:57 PM

Sandy Eggo and KC will win more than that. You get to 2 against just Oakland :)

Rausch 08-14-2013 05:57 PM

Denver isn't going 13-3 again...

JoeyChuckles 08-14-2013 06:24 PM

This prediction also has every team in the NFC West at .500 or better. Has that ever happened in a division?

GoChargers 08-14-2013 06:26 PM

Flip the Faid and the Chargers and it'll be a fairly accurate prediction of the AFC Worst.

RealSNR 08-14-2013 06:27 PM

Really reeruned predictions. Basically he's saying, "If you were terrible last year, you'll be terrible again, and if you were good last year you'll be good again."

No thought whatsoever went into these. Did he even do a game-by-game prediction to make sure the records lined up, so that all 32 teams go .500? I see a TON of really shitty records. It makes me think he has more losses than wins.

This: He didn't go out on any limbs here. There are always about 4 teams playoff bound that nobody expected. I hate analysts, they are more flavor of the month than a teenage girl.

2 divisions in 08. Not as rare as the nfc west below 500 superfecta in 2010.

Rain Man 08-14-2013 06:32 PM

Looks like we're going to sweep the division.

Doubt that.

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-14-2013 06:43 PM

I have a feeling the Raiders will be a little better than projected. Not much but maybe they get 4 or 5 wins. And yeah , of course the Chiefs will suck as usual !

Not this year !!!!!

Dunerdr 08-14-2013 06:45 PM

Johnny Butt****er from Random Utah University is a far more polished product, is bigger, and plays more aggressively. I think we're better off letting him fall to us in the draft than staying at the top to draft Matthews /Saccopoo

But as a prognosticator, he sucks ass. These are some of the worst predictions I've seen in the past few years.

It's senseless.

I always love these. Every single one of these predictions come by looking at the previous two/three years, and taking an average of a teams' win/loss.

Hard hitting analysis.

broncos will be 12-4
chiefs 9-7 or 10-6
chargers 8-8 yo 9-7
raiders 2-14 two wins at home against chiefs and chargers

How does SD get anywhere near that many wins? I don't see any part of the team that honestly would warrant that optimism

That would make them the Chiefs of this year. They're expected to be much improved, maybe even make a run at the wildcard.

We actually have the easiest schedule in the league this year...

2013 NFL season: Broncos have easiest schedule; Panthers hardest

The Carolina Panthers, based on the combined 2012 winning percentages and records of 2013 opponents, are up against the NFL's strongest schedule this season. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos, who went 13-3 last season, are rewarded with the weakest schedule.

Here's a look at the strength of schedule for every team in the league for 2013:

1. Carolina Panthers .543 (138-116-2)

2. Detroit Lions .539 (138-118-0)

3. New Orleans Saints .539 (137-117-2)

4. St. Louis Rams .539 (137-117-2)

5. Baltimore Ravens .535 (137-119-0)

6. Green Bay Packers .533 (136-119-1)

7. Arizona Cardinals .520 (131-121-4)

8. Miami Dolphins .520 (133-123-0)

9. San Francisco 49ers .520 (132-122-2)

10. Minnesota Vikings .516 (132-124-0)

11. Seattle Seahawks .516 (130-122-4)

12. Cincinnati Bengals .508 (130-126-0)

13. Jacksonville Jaguars .508 129-125-2)

14. New England Patriots .508 (130-126-0)

15. Atlanta Falcons .504 (128-126-0)

16. Chicago Bears .502 (128-127-1)

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers .500 (127-127-2)

18. Washington Redskins .498 (127-128-1)

19. New York Jets .496 (127-129-0)

20. Philadelphia Eagles .496 (127-129-0)

21. Cleveland Browns .492 (126-130-0)

22. Pittsburgh Steelers .496 (126-130-0)

23. Tennessee Titans .488 (124-130-2)

27. Houston Texans .473 (120-134-2)

28. Kansas City Chiefs .473 (121-135-0)

29. Oakland Raiders .469 (120-136-0)

Don't look $3it up on some prediction site - look at the schedule.

You're out of your mind if you don't see the Donks having to doge mines almost every week.

The first 3 weeks alone are the Ravens (won the SB,) Giants (unpredictable as hell,) and a division game vs the hapless Raiders.

I'd argue a 2-1 or 1-2 here. No matter what you beat the $hitty azz team Oakland throws out there.

Then it's Eagles, Cowboys, Jags.

I'd guess 2-1 over that stretch. At best that's 4-2 and we're only 6 weeks in...

ptlyon 08-15-2013 10:35 AM

I think they are fully aware the Ravens won the SB ROFL

GoChargers 08-15-2013 10:36 AM

The Donks have a cupcake schedule. Five nearly automatic wins right off the bat against arguably the three worst teams in the league (Jaguars, Faid, Chargers). They should be able to beat the Colts, Eagles, Cowboys, Titans, and at least split the series with the Chiefs. That's 10 or 11 fairly easy wins right there.

I do think they're a regular season fraud and one-and-done playoff team, but that's neither here nor there. If the Donks don't win this joke of a division with ease, it's a huge disappointment.

It seems like the fans and city feel cheated. Like they had bribed every official, greased every palm (and jersey,) and signed Manning and then the NFL somehow made a mistake...

None of those games you mentioned seem scary, we should win them all. The only game I'm really worried about is Week 16 @Houston. The regular season is meaningless for Denver, it's essentially just 16 preseason games for us, the only thing that matters is what happens in the playoffs.

I see what you are saying. I know a couple of those fans here in SUX that are just like some of them on the board. So totally convinced PM will take them to the SB.

Bet one of them $10 he wouldn't make it long enough to play us last year. Lost that one obviously.

Another bet we have is for $100 that he won't take them to the SB. That one is ongoing.

I pray I win that bet and shut up the loudmouth.

So the Colts (despite having less talent) have no axe to grind with Denver?
The Redskins (and Shanny) have no desire to beat Denver?

By the time you play that Pats that will be division-title-fight time of the year. Manning and Brady ****ing hate each other.

I don't want to sound arrogant or anything but none of that means anything to me. The regular season is just something we have to do deal with until the playoffs start. The biggest obstacle for us during the regular season will be staying healthy, not our opponents.

Hey, jackknife, I don't know if you realize this or not, but you don't play for the Broncos. You better hope that the Bronco players don't share your ****ed up sense of entitlement. Remember the "dream team" in Philadelphia? That's what happens to teams that think they don't have to worry about the regular season.

The Dream Team failed because they lacked leadership and focus. With With Fox, Del Rio and Manning we won't have those issues.

I'm so glad that they let you back. It is moments like this that I cherish.
