Retire, Romeo. Take a break.
Thanks for Geno. I will never forget you. |
Classy guy, to the end. He'll re-emerge as a DC somewhere---where he blongs in the first place.

he stole every penny
can't think of a coach who has done less |
Take a year off and then go coach KU. :)
Miscast as a HC. Good luck to him.
Seems like a nice guy & just not a good HC. Enjoy your retirement years

Class guy. Bad head coach. Good luck RAC. Don't take a DC job in the AFCW...

I'm not sure what went wrong out there this year, I'll evaluate it as I retire..
The players had no accountability under him. He's far too nice a guy and too lenient.
These players need a taskmaster and they need to be held accountable for their play. You don't produce... you're out. |

He lost the competitive fire required to be a head coach; even as a DC he only brought it to a handful of games the last few years. Poor hire from the get-go. Good luck, goodbye.
P.S. Buttered corn.
Anyone who would think Brian Daboli is the answer at OC is showing he shouldn't be a HC. Romeo had no coaching tree to pick good assistants. He didn't even have a coaching shrub. He had a coaching dandelion.
Scott Pioli's not getting a lot of love. LOL
Thanks for getting us the #1 pick and ridding us of Pioli. Now go retire.
he still doesn't know why
I'll take future defensive consultant for NE for $750, Alex.
I'm going to miss his "bend and then break" defense.
Just not Head Coach material, but I respect the hell out of him
I don't think Crennel was tough enough on the team. Several times when the press asked why the Chiefs ended up with yet another loss, his reply was "I don't know." A real HC gives the real reason why his team blows a game and doesn't look for an easy escape route. Crennel is not HC material, and both Hunt and Pioli should have seen that long before the start of this season.
