If you watched, it may have been an adjustment call. The guy going for a block came WAAAAY inside leaving the receiver completely uncovered. Possible that if the blocker stayed with the receiver the punt goes off as usual.

He certainly likes physical football, no doubt... but he's always been willing to take some risks. He used to throw the kitchen sink at the Colts on a yearly basis... onside kicks, fake punts, trick plays, etc. The guy once won a playoff game with a KR lateral. He's not a gunslinger but I don't think his reputation as a more scared conservative Marty is accurate either.
