Getting ready to head to Magoo's! Go Mizzou!

Rams Fan 10-16-2010 09:50 AM

If Mizzou can beat aTm, I think they're contenders for the Big 12.

crispystl 10-16-2010 09:50 AM

Go Mizzou!

Saul Good 10-16-2010 09:50 AM

I have no idea what this Mizzou team is, but I don't think A&M is that good. If we lose, I don't expect much out of this season. If we win, 10-2 is very likely.

If we win, I think Mizzou's ready to upset OU at home. If not, then it's going to be like last year all over again...

I hope, but man, Stoops has absolutely made Pinkel his bitch over the years.

We have got, got, got to win this game, if we are going to be viewed as serious contenders for the north, or even just to take the next step forward.

Mr. Arrowhead 10-16-2010 09:55 AM

should be a good one

Spott 10-16-2010 09:56 AM

I was thinking about starting this thread but I don't trust my karma. We've lost a couple of close ones out there the last few times we've played in College Station. Hopefully we can get some revenge today and Pinkel won't try any stupid fake FG calls like he did in 2006.

I know, but Mizzou's played them on the road and in the Big 12 Championship(:shake:), but they haven't faced them in Columbia for awhile. And I really think Oklahoma is a winnable game. If it weren't for Suh going ape on Gabbert last year, Mizzou could have been in the Big 12 Championship.

Amen. and the torrential downpour didn't help.

Donald Trump calling the game.

Not that I think Mizzou has a chance against OU, but I actually think they might have a better chance at pulling off the upset if they lost today. I don't want them to lose today of course, but it seems like when Mizzou starts to get high expectations, they come out flat.

Yeah, that was a low scoring game until Nebraska decided to score and take Gabbert out of the game. Stupid rain...

helps if we throw it beyond the los.

Offensive playcalling is killing me

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

Gabbert is a great talent, but he's not a great fit for our offense.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

I do like the fact that they aren't throwing to TJ every time.

Bowser 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

The pure spread offense is a proverbial turd in the proverbial punchbowl.

KcMizzou 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

Wow. Nice play by Jackson.

petegz28 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

That was a SWEET play!

Frazod 10-16-2010 10:32 AM

God we needed that.

petegz28 10-16-2010 10:33 AM

Egnew is a ****ing beast!

SPATCH 10-16-2010 10:33 AM

SPATCH 10-16-2010 10:33 AM

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:33 AM

Nice job. It's amazing what happens when you throw down the field a little.

Frazod 10-16-2010 10:34 AM

Holy crap - that shitty bubble screen finally worked!

crispystl 10-16-2010 10:34 AM

Gabbert can make throws Cassel could only dream of.

SPATCH 10-16-2010 10:34 AM

fudge.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:34 AM

crap

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:35 AM

These cameramen suck.

EmDiggy 10-16-2010 10:36 AM

Two Good QBs playing in this game.. And one HELLAVA pass rusher in Von Miller for A&M

Rams Fan 10-16-2010 10:36 AM

And the extra point is blocked.... great...

Aldon Smith might be the best in the country, but he's out.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:39 AM

Great throw.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:39 AM

The LBs have got to stop standing around once they thing the RB is stopped.

ebner's disappointed me this year with his effort.

He's a helluva hitter that gets by through grit and being fearless. This year he seems to have read some press clippings and is less inclined to really get his nose in there.

He could clean up a lot of these messes if he'd just finish like he was last season.

I was kind of hoping that the San Diego St. game would have served as a wake-up call when it came to that sort of thing.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:46 AM

Let's field this clean.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:47 AM

That would be a huge loss for aTm.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:48 AM

When you prove you'll stretch the field, that play opens up.

KcMizzou 10-16-2010 10:48 AM

I'll take that first quarter.

Me too. I like the way this game is going, but there's a lot of football left. Let's get some points out of this drive.

I would. This is a race to 20.

Coach 10-16-2010 10:52 AM

That was a good run.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 10:54 AM

Cassel thought that was a pretty good deep ball.

ozarkchief 10-16-2010 10:56 AM

This is the first Mizzou game I've watched this year...they're looking pretty solid so far. I'm looking forward to the Aggie turnover machine QB to start throwing some picks soon.

In Gabbert's defense, it was a playable ball.

Kemp needed to do a much better job of adjusting to that pass. He ran the coverage off then just tripped over his own feet trying to get around on it.

Kemp's pretty damn bad. I'm really surprised by how little he's progressed.

Get a 2 score lead and they're in real trouble.

A&M is not a comeback team.

Ugh...what an awful playcall on third down there. Awful execution as well. 3 lineman focus on 1 guy that had already run himself out of the play while Kemp is forced to try to juke 3.

I really hate you, Dave Yost.

kstater 10-16-2010 11:01 AM

What a horrible call

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:02 AM

Great play call. Almost worked.

-King- 10-16-2010 11:02 AM

YOU THROW A BUBBLE SCREEN ON ****ING 4TH AND 7?!?!? WHAT THE ****?

Coach 10-16-2010 11:02 AM

Not sure I agree with going for it.

kcpasco 10-16-2010 11:02 AM

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:02 AM

A device should be attached to Yost's nuts that gives him a 1,000 volt shock every time he runs that ****ing play. :#

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:03 AM

OH **** ME!

No, I'm sure they never saw another mother****ing bubble screen coming.

Fire this overmatched mother****er of an offensive coordinator yesterday. You cannot convince me that there's not a single person coaching high school football that wouldn't do a better job than this asswipe.

****, I could sit in a booth and say "bubble left, bubble right" using a tattered old playbook I stole from Dave Christensen as well. I'd do it cheaper than Yost.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:03 AM

Understood. I'm not a big fan of Yost either, but hey, at least it's not Jimmy Raye.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:07 AM

Okay, TE screen middle.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:08 AM

Damn -- who would've guessed run? I didn't even think Yost knew that was legal.

Rams Fan 10-16-2010 11:08 AM

Can Pinkel please take play calling duties away from Yost?

Coach 10-16-2010 11:10 AM

Overthrown. Had him open there.

Frazod 10-16-2010 11:11 AM

That was a little too Cassel-like for comfort.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:11 AM

Holy hell.

Gabbert owes Egnew a sammich for that throw.

Saul Good 10-16-2010 11:11 AM

Gabbert sails way too many throws.

DJ's left nut 10-16-2010 11:12 AM

Great catch coming across his body.

Egnew was a 2-star WR coming out of High School and now he's probably the best pass catching TE in the country as a junior.

Rucker, Coffman, Egnew....whoever coaches our TEs needs a raise. Egnew may be better than all of them when all is said and done.
