Not good at punt returns.

Halfcan 09-20-2009 03:46 PM

wade was a stud today

beach tribe 09-20-2009 03:47 PM

He just looks good compared to what we have. I seem to remember him dropping a pass on third down?

LaChapelle 09-20-2009 03:49 PM

Looks like molasses in returns.

The Raiders have one of the best secondaries in the league so I'm not sure what this means.

Smed1065 09-20-2009 03:50 PM

Hey less than a week. Some say they need a year! Go DVD!

R&GHomer 09-20-2009 03:53 PM

Considering he signed with us last week I think he had an outstanding game. He had the one dropped pass, but he was all over the place.

Demonpenz 09-20-2009 03:55 PM

wade looked grat

MahiMike 09-20-2009 04:47 PM

Looks like the new go to guy. Amazing how guys start training camp in July, practice 1000 times and don't play. Wade signs this week, plays and is the #1 WR few days later.

yep I was very impressed

Bwana 09-20-2009 05:22 PM

As a WR, you bet. As a return man, hell no.

Terribilis 09-20-2009 05:29 PM

do you think Wade will consistently get more looks then bowe?

At least he didn't fumble any of the returns. That is an improvement over what we've had.

chiefs1111 09-20-2009 05:56 PM

Bobby Wade looked great against poop

True, but just the fact you typed out that statment means our kR game is the pits. If folks are jacked bacause our return guru didn't let the ball hit the ground and not worried about the guy gaining any yards in that process, there is room for improvement.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just pointing out that he was an improvement. Sometimes when you have a team this bad you have to look for whatever silver lining you can find.

There is definitely room for improvement in the return game. Not dropping the ball is one big improvement. He's not the answer, but then again nobody said he was. I don't think anyone got "jacked" about his return abilities, just the fact that he doesn't drop the ball on special teams and only had one drop with the offense. We'll probably spend another pick trying to find a returner next year.

Um yeah, we sure as hell could use one. We could all use a little chance of excitement in the return game again.

It's very possible, given that Bowe will almost certainly be matched up against every team's best corner.

Pretty much this. However, not all team's corners are Namdi AIcantspellhis****ingname.

I thought Bowe played pretty well. Very well against Namdi.

the Talking Can 09-20-2009 07:24 PM

wade is our slow wes welker

which is a major upgrade from no wes welker....

great signing so far

The Bad Guy 09-20-2009 07:40 PM

Everytime Wade brought back a punt, I had to make sure the play button wasn't stuck on my DVR.

I was thinking he did fumble one out of bounds. That memory is fuzzy though.

And any contact at all makes him look like he's made of paper.

Great hands though.

Hammock Parties 09-20-2009 08:14 PM

I don't like him as an outside receiver. He's a good player, though. I want him in the slot.

The Chiefs need a big, fast guy on the outside. In the meanntime at least Wade can get past the first-down marker.

Welker actually isn't that fast. He probably runs a 4.5 on a good day. Wade is probably slower though.
