My thread is the original!

MIAdragon 01-23-2009 05:08 PM

This should be good.

DeezNutz 01-23-2009 05:08 PM

Rat is the greatest. Chiefs headed in the right direction. /Gonzo/

Kraus 01-23-2009 05:09 PM

Seriously?! I didn't see anything on the front page.

Edit: we both posted at 5:07

QuikSsurfer 01-23-2009 05:09 PM

things are moving fast today

Hammock Parties 01-23-2009 05:10 PM

Probably. But since everybody's so ****ing interested in what he has to say... maybe something big

Kraus 01-23-2009 05:11 PM

Curses...you probably beat my thread by a couple seconds.

MIAdragon 01-23-2009 05:11 PM

I cant wait for his interview after we draft a QB in the 1st round.

talastan 01-23-2009 05:12 PM

Wonder if it will go something like this?

Tony ---> :sulk: "My buddy Herm is gone, I'm going to take my ball and go play somewhere else!"

I do have a feeling he'll touch on this. You know, the whole, "here's what I don't want the team to do... I like Larry, I like Tyler, yadda yadda"

He'll give out a list of demands

Having more posts is a direct relation to the size of your penis?

Don't mind me. I overreacted and wasn't really talking specifically to you.

RealSNR 01-23-2009 05:38 PM

HERE IT IS

kstater 01-23-2009 05:38 PM

TG doesn't like it.

RealSNR 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

Tony: A lot of games we should have won. Herm deserved another chance next year.

Accepts it. That's just how it goes

88TG88 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

One more shot ? lol

kstater 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

Thought Herm deserved another shot. Blame shouldn't be put on Herm.

QuikSsurfer 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

What else?

kstater 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

He likes Herm.

kstater 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

Herm treats him like a man.

RealSNR 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

Liked Herm's ability to relate to his players. Young guys didn't understand how to be professionals. Young guys took advantage of Herm's treating them like pros

PriestMVP31 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

Likes Shanahan!

FringeNC 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

Threw Herm under the bus for being too much of a player's coach...

Basileus777 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

Tony basically just admitted that Herm didn't have any control over the locker room. Which for a players coach, is pathetic.

MikeMaslowski 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

he'd like shann....

RealSNR 01-23-2009 05:41 PM

Shanahan has put together great teams. I would have no problem bringing in a proven winner.

Tony's gonna sit back and wait and relax. Pioli signing is great. He's not going to worry about trade. Only worrying about how long it will take to get team good again

Mama Hip Rockets 01-23-2009 05:41 PM

guy on sportscenter: do you want to be on the chiefs?
tony: uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Bwana 01-23-2009 05:41 PM

Crying about rebuilding.

RealSNR 01-23-2009 05:42 PM

As of right now, likes the direction the team is going. Wants to remain a Chief to try to win a Super Bowl

That kinda summed it up.

Worried about how long the "rebuilding" will take.

Now, backtracking a bit. Says he wants to stay.

arrowheadnation 01-23-2009 05:42 PM

"If that would happen (Shanahan getting the job) I would have no problem with that." -Tony G.

warrior 01-23-2009 05:42 PM

Tony sounds excited no problem with rat.

Kraus 01-23-2009 05:42 PM

Not going anywhere until Chiefs say otherwise.

Tony Gonzalez...

"A lot of young guys took advantage of Herm. When practice was over, they went home instead of staying and getting better."

Interesting...

Of course he's under contract. Pioli will make sure that he won't go anywhere unless someone wants to break the bank.

Mr. Plow 01-23-2009 05:44 PM

Also said Mr. Plow is the shit. I was surprised.

arrowheadnation 01-23-2009 05:44 PM

Other than Joe Montana, Tony is my favorite Chief of all-time! Love that dude.

It's hard to hate him. He's one of all time favorites, also the first Chiefs jersey I bought.

Hammock Parties 01-23-2009 05:47 PM

Wow, Tony is impressing me.

Go Tony.

KC_Connection 01-23-2009 05:48 PM

Does anybody really see the Chiefs being contenders in 2 years? I mean if Pioli rebuilds this whole thing as he probably should, it should take atleast that long to get to that point.

Joe? why is he your favorite Chief? he's a niner lol. i know he played here a little, but it was just a quick visit. I dont even think he makes my top 10 and i started being a Chiefs fan around 90-91.

Why? Look at the Falcons and Dolphins...we can win next year.

arrowheadnation 01-23-2009 06:05 PM

Joe is my favorite NFL player of alltime. It was just icing on the cake when he came to my favorite team.

The drive against the Broncos on MNF was pretty damn sweet too!

Phobia 01-23-2009 06:09 PM

I wonder if Tony is going to announce that he's stimulating the KC economy by paying his bills.

boogblaster 01-23-2009 06:26 PM

TG needs to stay ... Retire a Chief .. Be Somebody ...

As stated earlier if they draft well this year, and spend some of the cap dollars they have I could see this turning around pretty quick.

In today's NFL i shouldn't take more than 2yrs to turn it around. See Dolphins, Falcons, and many, many more.

We're no as far away as most believe. A few impact players, and good coaching could get us to 11 wins quick.
