Same price? 5 years ago I could snag those things for $2.50 a package (85 cent dinner when you add Sour Cream). Now they're about $3.30 and they've been down to 8 in a package for several months now.

And they taste much more like cardboard poop than they did when I was in college.

This is so strange. I literally just now opened this thread while eating a bean and cheese. I think its a sign. A sign of what though? :hmmm:

It means you won't have to create your own poop thread later tonight?

I love how he just can't let it go and hang up even after he says "goodbye."

Look at the bright side Laz, this is going to save a lot of wear and tear on your toliet and likely extend the life of the old girl for several years.

Adept Havelock 12-30-2008 01:34 PM

Laz, you should check into the Acuna Brothers authentic Tex-Mex food, located right next door to this theater.

Probably just a different comparison against the food you eat now vs the food you ate then.

I noticed that when I bought a bag of them a month ago.

Jilly 12-30-2008 03:12 PM

whatever, I went to Arby's today and actually got fries instead of my normal baked lay's. THey gave me, i'm not kidding - a total of 5 curly fries. I didn't know until I got to my office.

Oh absolutely. I'm mostly just shocked I didn't die sometime in college. I had a deep fryer full of grease in ready reserve at all times. If I didn't feel like a frozen burrito, pizza roles or corn dogs I just shreaded a couple potatos and threw that in the deep fryer for hash browns. Throw on plate, get coke, dinner is served.

Just an appalingly bad diet.

Still, for the money, it was hard to beat those burritos.

Fish 12-30-2008 04:46 PM

First the Doublecheeseburger... and now this?

Dooooomed....
