WHo would you like our next GM to consider for our next HC?

Once CP and his entire staff are terminated who would you like our next GM to consider to be a our next HC? Jason Garrett seems like a young talented prospect? Disagree? ANy one else?

runnercyclist 09-24-2007 12:14 AM

Marv Levy

Scorp 09-24-2007 02:14 AM

Bill Cowher, and guess what? He is available!

shyguyms 09-24-2007 03:00 AM

Marty as GM Cowher as coach

Sully 09-24-2007 04:59 AM

Cowher.

donkhater 09-24-2007 05:24 AM

Jason Garrett, perhaps. He'll probably be snatched up before Herm is let go, though.

chagrin 09-24-2007 05:28 AM

Jason Garret is way to young to be a head coach, but I think he was an Ivy League player, so he's got brains - still too young IMO.

I like Bill Cowher and I have always thought he'd make a good coach for KC.

wazu 09-24-2007 05:38 AM

Cowher.

Fishpicker 09-24-2007 05:38 AM

Cowher for GM & coach

GoHuge 09-24-2007 06:29 AM

Yep just let Cowher run the whole thing like Shanahan and Belichick do for their teams. Seems to work for them. I don't think Cowher will be back even next year because he seems happy doing his TV deal and relaxing, but in 09' Clark needs to get out the checkbook.

Yup.

I'd love Cowher, Capers, or even Chucky. You know Chucky hates them Raiduhs anyway... :)

Extra Point 09-24-2007 08:51 AM

Cowher is the best match for us, and I think will be HC/GM.

Jason Garrett will be HC for the Cowboys, eventually. Dallas won't let him go. Brilliant job last nite against Chicago, despite Rex Grossman's contributions to the loss.

MahiMike 09-24-2007 09:02 AM

Fisher or Shanahan...

Unless Chucky keeps on winning he will be available.

Sully 09-24-2007 09:24 AM

I think Fisher just signed an extension this weekend or late last week.

bsp4444 09-24-2007 09:49 AM

Cowher for both GM and Coach, that should save some cash for Clark Hunt.

I would rather have some one new and fresh. Bringing back Cowher and or Marty does not seem to turn the Chapter for this franchise. Once CP and his entire staff is let go I would like a HC that has no ties with CP and/or the Chief's franchise to lead this club.

I guess everyone has no hope that CP will be terminated along with his staff before the end of 2008 season. :(

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-24-2007 10:55 AM

Cowher?? Pass.

This team needs new, fresh blood, and someone who actually isn't afraid to run the Coryell offense. That doesn't mean our D has to suck, either.

Chiefnj2 09-24-2007 11:00 AM

It is rumored that Andy Reid is 50/50 about returning to Philly.

Agreed! I think DV was headed in the right direction he just couldn't get the D straight. Draft pick bUsts really hurt him.

Picking Herm for HC after DV retired threw the baby out with the bath water. It's why CP and his staff must move on. He just doesn't have the goods to take us to a SB. Your time is up you lose. NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clark please pull the plug NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry Jones hired Garrett to be the OC before he hired a head coach, I think he is the future for the Cowgirls.

Deberg_1990 09-24-2007 11:03 AM

Id take Mike Holmgren in a hearbeat. As well as Jon Gruden.

dirk digler 09-24-2007 11:04 AM

Definitely Cowher or maybe we throw the bank at Bob Stoops or Pete Carroll

I would take Gruden as my Head Coach... Always liked him... (other than when he was a raider... :) )

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-24-2007 11:25 AM

Pete Carroll is a horrible pro coach. If you think Herm has a problem getting these players in line and busting their asses, Carroll is 10x worse.

For the life of me, I don't know why someone would want a WCO guy. The WCO is completely outdated.

KCChiefsMan 09-24-2007 11:39 AM

I would consider Garrett, but obviously Cowher would be the kick ass choice

Bill Belichick was a horrible pro coach too that got a second chance. I don't know much about Carroll but I think he is going to get another shot in the NFL if the money is right.

Carroll got two NFL chances. He failed on both. But he is a terrific COLLEGE coach no doubt.

melbar 09-24-2007 12:33 PM

I'd love to see Marty now that he's grown enough to appreciate the passing game. The bad luck in the playoffs has to stop soon.

Micjones 09-24-2007 12:38 PM

I'd like to have Stoops.

Actually, thats a little bit of a misconception. Belicheck wasnt that awful in Cleveland. He made the playoffs twice i think?? and then in his last year there, he had to deal with the whole franchise moving thing, which doomed the team from the start.

Frankie 09-24-2007 12:43 PM

Marty! Snoops! Capers!.... GET OVER IT PEOPLE!

FloridaMan88 09-24-2007 12:46 PM

Mike Martz

This is who the Chiefs should have hired to replace Vermeil.

Mike Martz as head coach and Al Saunders as assistant head coach

And a continuation of Vermiel's D. No to Martz. Saunders was my choice then, and I still wonder why we didn't get him.

chiefsfan1963 09-24-2007 06:40 PM

How about Norm Chow?

shyguyms 09-26-2007 04:19 AM

Al Saunderss, he can be had from Washington for 2 balls and a kicking tee.
What a joke they are gonna hang him before the year is over.
